(A greatest logical formula by HCR not a derivation)

(A New Discovery on Permutations in Algebra) Feb, 2014

He authored a book Advanced Geometry published with Notion Press India for advanced studies in Higher Education. It has many a research articles of Geometry, Radiometry & Trigonometry. He approves that his formula HCRs Rank or Series Formula does not have any mathematical derivation/origination although it is expressed in mathematical terms Factorial ( ) & Discrete Summation ( ). Its basically a logical formula which is outcome of long & deep studies/experiments. He studied more than two years on permutations of alphabetic words & numbers. He arranged a number of words & numbers (having non-zero digits only) obtained by permutation using simple methodologies of Alphabet in correct alphabetic and numeric order. His thousands of ideas failed to find out mathematical formula which detects sequence (Rank) of any word or any number randomly selected from a group of permutations. He categorised the words & the numbers mainly in two types of permutations 1. Homogeneous Permutations: All the words having equal & identical alphabetic letters and all the numbers having equal & identical digits respectively are called homogeneous permutations. Group of such words is called Word-series & similarly, group of such numbers is called Number-series Here Permutation means any alphabetic word or any number in the world.

2. Non-homogeneous Permutations: Any two words which do not have equal & identical alphabetic letters and any two numbers which do not have equal & identical digits respectively are called non-homogeneous permutations. Carrying out a number of experiments/tests on permutations of alphabetic words & numbers with non-zero digits, he observed that each of the letters/digits of any word/number randomly selected from a word-series/number-series respectively has certain value called Permutation Value (PV) & PV of each letter or digit depends on three factors F, P & S which have unusual meanings & termed by the author as follows

PV of each letter or digit is given as follows ( ) Now, if PVs of all the letters of any word or PVs of all the non-zero digits of any number are added together then the sum of PVs gives the rank of an y word or a number respectively. Now if a given word/number has total no. of the letters/non-zero digits, out of which no. of repetitive letters/non-zero digits respectively are , , Then rank (alphabetic or numeric order) of a word/number is given as follows ( ( ) ( ) ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ( ( ) ) ) ( ( ( ) ) ) ( ( ) )

Above formula is applicable for any alphabetic word or a positive integral number having non-zero digits only.

In a certain group of digits (both zero & non-zero), let

In this case, if all the digits are permuted together then we get two types of number 1. Significant Number: The number having first digit as non-zero (other than zero) 2. Non-significant Number: The number having at least first digit as zero Now, if first digit is selected as zero then no. of the remaining digits is ( ) which no. of the repetitive digits are ( then The total ( ) no. of the non-significant numbers is given as ( ( ) ) digits ) is given as ) ) out of

While total no. (N) of the significant numbers (having ( ( ) ( ( ) ( ( ) ( ) ) )

Now, assuming all the digits as non-zero (significant), find the rank of the given number using HCRs Formula by following normal procedure If we subtract the value (no. of non-significant numbers) from the rank obtained by ) digits then we find the actual numeric order HCRs Formula applied for all ( (increasing or decreasing) of any number having both zero & non-zero digits as follows ( )

If there is no zero digits then on setting

in the above formula, we get

This is equally applicable for all the alphabetic words & numbers having only non-zero digits.

Generalised Form: Above formula does not distinguish between a significant & nonsignificant letter or digit Ex. All the zero digits are non-significant which should not appear at the first (left most) place of a number. Thus if any given word or a number has total the respective rank is given as follows no. of non-significant letters/digits then
