Introduction

Wind is the flow of gases on a large scale. On Earth, wind consists of the bulk movement of air. Hurricane damages: $422 billion in economic losses caused by the increasing intensity of Atlantic and Gulf Coast storms. In the business-as-usual climate future, higher sea-surface tem eratures result in stronger and more damaging hurricanes along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts. !"en #ith storms of the same intensity, future hurricanes #ill cause more damage as higher sea le"els e$acerbate storm surges, flooding, and erosion. In recent years, hurricane damages ha"e a"eraged $%2 billion and more than %2& deaths er year. Abstract
In this ro*ect, I #ill mesure the "oltage induced by a -c motor and find the relation bet#een the "oltage and the #ind s eed that induced that "oltage and constract a sim le #arning system. 1.2 Objectives 0he main ob*ecti"es of this ro*ect means to e"aluate Construct a sim le anemometer. As a #ind source, a hair drayer is used to shed air on the motor 1#hich is used as a -c generator2, its fan starts to rotate gi"ing a constant 34/ and as a result induce a constant "oltage. 2. 0he motor connected to the "oltmeter, #e calcucated the 34/ and the "oltage induced e"erytime #e change the s eed of the air shed from the hair drayer. 5. results RPM 0.000 20.000 40.000 54.000 96.000 102.000 114.000 144.000
