Groups of 2-3 Objective: Using photos taken with your cellphones (s), name and label 20 different parts of the heart
Pre-lab
Pre-lab: as a group, decide ahead of time which parts you will be looking for. Choose some backup parts in case you cannot find some of your original ones Create a checklist and submit to Mr. Plattner before the lab. Decide the approximate order of parts you which to photograph, as part on the outside maybe hard to photograph once you get outside of the heart
You will be given a heart from an animal You will decide which cuts to make and where Keep in mind: Small cuts are better than big cuts if you are unsure Shallow cuts are better than deep cuts It is already dead. If you make a mistake, no biggie. Let go of the 'formality' of lab instructions and have fun exploring.
Additional Questions
