He sent this revelation by an angel to his servant John, 002 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. who gave a personal record of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. 003 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

The one, who reads this or hears the words of prophecy and obeys will be blessed. 004 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; This letter is from John to the seven churches in Asia. May grace and peace from the Seven Spirits before the throne, 005 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, Jesus Christ, and the one, who is, who was, and who is to come, be with you. Jesus is the faithful witness and the first to be raised from the dead. He is the prince of king, who loved us and saved us from our sins with his own blood. 006 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. He has made us kings and priests to God, his Father. May he have the glory and power forever and ever. Amen. 007 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Look, he comes with the clouds, and every eye will see him. Even those, who killed him, along with the rest of the earth will cry for him. 008 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. "I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end," says the Lord. He is the Almighty, the one, who is, who was, and who is to come. 009 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I, John, also your brother, was in Patmos, for spreading the word of God and Jesus Christ. 010 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, On the day of the Lord, I was filled with the Spirit, when I heard a great voice speaking, like a trumpet. 011 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. It said, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. You will write in a book what you see and send it to the seven churches in Asia, Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea." 012 And I turned to see

the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; I turned to see the voice, and saw seven golden candlesticks. 013 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. In the middle of the candles was a figure like the Son of man, clothed in a flowing garment down to his feet and belted with a golden sash. 014 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; His hair was like wool and white as snow. His eyes burned fire, 015 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. and his feet appeared to enflamed. His voice was as soothing as the sound of running water. 016 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. In his right hand, he held seven stars, and he pulled a sharp two-edged sword from his mouth. He shone like the sun, demonstrating his strength. 017 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: When I saw him, I fell at his feet, as though I were dead. He laid his right hand on me and said, "Do not fear, for I am the first and the last. 018 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. I am the one, who lives and never dies. Look, I live forever. Amen. I hold the keys to hell and death. 019 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; Write about the things you have seen and the things to come. 020 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. This is the mystery of the seven stars, you saw in my right hand, and the seven candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches and the seven candlesticks are the churches.

Chapter 2 001 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the

seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; Write to the angel of the church of Ephesus. This is the message of the one, who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden candlesticks. 002 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: "I know your works and your labor. I know your patience and how you resist against those, who are evil. I know you have tested false apostles and found them to be liars. 003 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. You have endured suffering and been patient for my name's sake, without growing faint. 004 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Nevertheless, I have something against you, because you have left your first love. 005 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Remember, how you used to love me before you fell. Repent and turn back, or else I will come to you and remove your candlestick. 006 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. In your favor, you do hate the Nicolaitanes, whom I also hate. 007 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. So, whoever has ears, let him hear the Spirit as it speaks to the churches, saying, 'Whoever overcomes evil will be given the fruit of the tree of life, which is in the middle of God's paradise.'" 008 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; Write to the angel of the church in Smyrna. Tell them this is the message of the one, who is the first and the last, who was dead, but now alive. 009 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. "I know your works and how you suffer from poverty. But, oh how you are rich! I know people live among you, who say they are Jews, but they are from Satan. 010 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some

of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Do not fear your suffering, but look, the devil will try to take some of you into his prison. You will be tested and have problems for ten days. Be faithful, even to your death, and I will give you the crown of life. 011 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. Whoever has ears, let him hear the Spirit speaking to the church, saying, 'Whoever is victorious, will not die a second death.'" 012 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; Write to the angel of the church in Pergamos. Tell them this is the message from he, who holds the sharp, two-edged sword. 013 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. "I know your works and where your heart dwells. I even know the home of Satan. You hold onto my name and have not denied the faith, even when Antipas was martyred among you. 014 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. However, I have a few things against you, because you allow some, who hold the law of Balaam, to live among you. Balaam taught Balac to entice the children of Israel to eat sacrifices to idols and commit impure sexual acts. 015 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate. You also have some, who have the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, whom I hate, among you. 016 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Repent, or I will come to you and fight against them with the sword from my mouth. 017 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. Whoever has ears let him hear what the Spirit speaks to the church, saying, 'Whoever remains faithful will eat the hidden manna and will be given a white stone, on which a new name will be written especially for them.'" 018 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like

fine brass; Write to the angel of the church in Thyatira. Tell them this message is from the Son of God, who has eyes like fire and feet that rest on fine brass. 019 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. "I know your works, love, service, and faith. You are patient and continue to improve in your faith. 020 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. However, I have a few things against you, because you allow Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce my servants to perform immoral acts. 021 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. I gave her time to repent for her sins, but she did not. 022 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. I will cast her into a bed of great tribulation, along with those, who commit adultery with her, unless they repent of their sins. 023 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. I will kill her children, and you will know I am the one, who searches hearts and gives everyone according to their works. 024 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. For those of you, who have not followed her false doctrine, I will not put nothing else on you. 025 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. Just remain faithful until I come. 026 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: Whoever, overcomes evil and keeps my commandments, will have power over the nations. 027 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. He will rule with a rod of iron and the vessels of the potter will be broken into pieces. They will have the same authority as me, which I received from the Father. 028 And I will give him the morning star.

I will also give him them the morning star, 029 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. so whoever, has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

Chapter 3 001 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Write to the angel of the church in Sardis. Tell them this is the message from the one, who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars. "I know your works and you have a reputation for being alive, although you are dead. 002 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Be careful and strengthen what remains, so you are ready to die, for I have not found your works for God to be perfect. 003 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Remember, how you have heard and received the word of God. Hold fast and repent, or I will come to you like a thief and you will not know the time. 004 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. You have a few in Sardis, who have not defiled their heavenly garments and they will walk with me, adorned in white, for they are worthy. 005 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Anyone, who overcomes sin, will be given the same clothing, and I will not remove his name from the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and his angels. 006 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Whoever, has ears, let him hear what the Spirit speaks to the churches." 007 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; Write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia. Tell them this message is from the true and holy one, who has the key of David, and what he opens, no one can open or close. 008 I know thy works:

behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. "I know your works and I have opened a door for you no one can close. You have little strength and have kept my word. You have not denied me, 009 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. so I will make those, who claim to be Jews and worship in the synagogue of Satan, bow down before you. They will know how I have loved you, 010 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. because you have kept my word. I will also keep you from the hour of temptation, which will come on the world and its inhabitants. 011 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. I will come quickly, so hold on to your faith and let no man take your crown. 012 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. Anyone, who overcomes, I will make a pillar in the temple of God, where they will live forever. I will write the name of God and his city, which is Jerusalem, on him. I will also write my new name. 013 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Whoever has ears, let him hear what the Spirit speaks to the churches." 014 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea. Tell them this is the message from the faithful and true witness of God, who has lived since the beginning. 015 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. "I know your works and they are neither good or bad. I would rather they were one or the other. 016 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Since you rest in the middle, I will reject you. 017 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and

blind, and naked: You say you are rich and need nothing, but I know you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. 018 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. I tell you to buy gold from me, which has been tested by the fire. With this gold, you may be clothed and cover your nakedness. You may buy medicine to heal your eyes. 019 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Even though I love you, I rebuke and discipline you. So, regain your zealous spirit and repent. 020 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. I stand at the door and knock, so if anyone hears my voice, let him open the door. I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. 021 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Whoever, overcomes sin, I will give a throne to sit with me. I had to overcome sin and now, I sit with the Father in his throne room. 022 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Whoever, has ears, let him hear what the Spirit speaks to the churches."

Chapter 4 001 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. After he spoke, I looked and saw a door to heaven opened. The first voice sounded like a trumpet. It said, "Come up here, and I will show you things to come." 002 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. Immediately, I was in the spirit and saw a throne in heaven. 003 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. One sat on the throne, and he shined like brilliant gems. A rainbow surrounded the throne

004 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. and twenty-four seats sat nearby. Twenty-four elders sat in the seats, each clothed in dazzling, white garments. They had gold crowns on their heads. 005 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Lightning and thundering voices came from the throne and seven lamps burned before it, indicating the seven Spirits of God. 006 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. Before the throne, a sea of glass like crystal swirled and four beasts with many eyes sat in front and behind the seat. 007 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. The first beast was like a lion and the second was like a calf. The third beat had the face of a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle. 008 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. Each beast had six wings and many eyes. They did not rest, but cried, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, is and is to come." 009 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, When those beasts gave glory, honor, and thanks to the one on the throne, who lives forever, 010 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, the twenty-four elders fell down and worshipped him. They threw their crowns before him and said, 011 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. "You are worthy, oh Lord, to receive all the glory, honor, and power. You have created all things and we were created for your pleasure."

Chapter 5 001 And I saw in the right

hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. In the right hand of the one, who sat on the throne, was a book, with words written on the front and back, and sealed with seven seals. 002 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? I saw a strong angel proclaiming in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the book and break the seals?" 003 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. No man in heaven, earth, or beneath the earth was able to open or look inside the book. 004 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. I began to cry, because no man was worthy to open and read the book. 005 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. One of the elders said to me, "Do not cry. Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, is capable of opening the book and breaking the seals." 006 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Then, I looked and saw the four beasts in the middle of the throne. Among the elders, a Lamb appeared, as if it had been slain. It had seven horns and seven eyes, representing the seven Spirits of God sent throughout the earth. 007 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. He came and took the book from the right hand of the one on the throne. 008 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. Then, the four beasts and twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and golden vials filled with perfume, which are the prayers of the saints. 009 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; They sung a new song. "You are worthy to take the book and open the seals, for you were slain and have redeemed us to God. With your blood, you saved a multitude of

people from every nation, 010 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. making us kings and priests of men on earth, where we will reign. 011 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; I saw and heard the voice of many angels around the throne, with the sounds from the beasts and elders. It sounded like the voice of thousands and thousands. 012 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. United, they said, "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain to receive power, riches, wisdom, ad strength. He has honor, glory, and blessings. 013 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Then, I heard every creature on heaven and earth, under the earth and in the sea, say, "Blessings, honor, glory, and power be his, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever." 014 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever. The four beasts said, "Amen." and the elders knelt down and worshipped the one, who lives forever.

Chapter 6 001 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. Then, I saw the Lamb open one of the seals and heard a clap of thunder, as one of the four beasts said, "Come and see." 002 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. I saw a white horse, his rider held a bow. A crown was given to him and he forward to conquer. 003 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. When the second seal was open, I heard the second beast say, "Come and see." 004 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat

thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. Another horse, that was red, was given power to take peace from the earth, so people would kill one another. A great sword was given to him. 005 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. When he opened the third seal, the third beast said, "Come and see." A black horse appeared with a rider, who had a pair of balances in his hand. 006 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. I heard a voice, amidst the beasts, say, "Give a portion of daily bread for a day's wages, but do not hurt the oil and wine." 007 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. After the fourth seal was broken, I heard the voice of the fourth beast, say, "Come and see." 008 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. I saw a pale horse, whose rider was Death and he was followed by Hell. The power was given to him over a fourth of the earth to kill with sword, hunger, diseases, and wild animals. 009 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: When the fifth seal was open, I saw souls of those, who were slain for the word of God and their testimony, under the altar. 010 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? They cried in a loud voice, "How long, oh holy and true Lord, before you judge and avenge our blood on those, who live on earth? 011 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. White robes were given to every one of them, and they were told to rest, until their brothers, who would suffer as they did, joined them. 012 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

I saw him open the sixth seal and a great earthquake came and the sun became dark as black cloth and the moon turned the color of blood. 013 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. The stars of heaven fell onto the earth, like the fruit from a fig tree, when shaken by mighty winds. 014 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. The heavens opened like a scroll and rolled together, moving every mountain and island. 015 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; The kings, great men, and rich men of the earth, along with the chief captains, the mighty men, slave and free man hid in dens and rocks of the mountains. 016 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: They cried out to the mountains, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one, who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, 017 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? for the day of his wrath is here and who is able to stand?"

Chapter 7 001 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. Afterwards, I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so the wind could not blow. 002 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels, who held the power to hurt the earth and sea. 003 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. "Do not hurt the earth, sea, or trees, until we have marked the servants of God on their foreheads." 004 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and

forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. The number of the chosen from the tribes of Israel was one hundred forty-four thousand. 005 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. Twelve thousand were chosen from the tribe of Juda, and twelve thousand from the tribe of Reuben. From the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand were marked, 006 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. and from the tribe of Aser, twelve thousand were marked. Twelve thousand were chosen from the tribes of Nephthalim, Manasses, 007 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. Simeon, Levi, Issachar, 008 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. Zabulon, Joseph, and Benjamin. 009 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; Then, I saw a great crowd of people, no man could count from all nations and walks of life, before the lamb. They were clothed in white robes, with palms in their hands. 010 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. Aloud voice cried, "Salvation from God, who sits on the throne and to the Lamb." 011 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and four beasts fell before the throne on their faces and worshipped God. " 012 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. Amen. Blessings, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might be to God forever and ever. Amen." 013 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white

robes? and whence came they? One of the elders said to me, "Who are those in white robes? From where did they come?" 014 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. I replied, "Sir, you must know." He said, "These people are those, who came from the great tribulation. Their robes have been washed and made white by the blood of the Lamb. 015 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. Therefore, they stand before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple, and he lives among them. 016 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. They no longer hunger or thirst. They do not feel the heat from the sun, 017 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. for the Lamb, who is among them, feeds them and leads them to living fountains of water. God wipes away all the tears from their eyes.

Chapter 8 001 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. When the seventh seal was opened, a silence filled the heavens for about half an hour. 002 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. I saw the seven angels, who stood before God, with seven trumpets. 003 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. Another angel came to the altar with a golden incense burner. He had a lot of incense to offer on the altar before the throne with prayers to the saints. 004 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. The smoke of the incense drifted with the prayers of the saints before God. 005 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and

an earthquake. The angel took the burner and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it down on the earth. Thunder, lightning, and earthquakes shook the earth. 006 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to blow. 007 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. The first angel sounded the trumpet and hail and fire mingled with blood fell on the earth. A third of the trees and grass were burned. 008 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; The second angel blew the trumpet and a great mountain, burning with fire, fell into the sea. A third of the sea turned to blood, 009 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. and a third of the sea creatures died. A third of the ships at sea were destroyed. 010 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; The third angel sounded and a great star, burning like a lamp, fell from heaven. A third of the rivers and lakes were destroyed. 011 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. The name of the star was Wormwood and a third of the waters became bitter, like wormwood. 012 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. The fourth angel blew the trumpet and a third of the sun was struck, long with a third of the moon and a third of the stars. As a result, a third of them was darkened, and a third of the day was dark, along with part of the night. 013 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! Then, I saw and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven saying, "Woe, to all on earth when the last three trumpets sound!"

Chapter 9 001 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. The fifth angel sounded the trumpet and I saw a star fall from heaven onto the earth. 002 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. The angel was given the key to the bottomless pit, which he opened. Smoke arose from the pit, like from a great furnace, darkening the sun and air. 003 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. Locusts and scorpions escaped from the smoke and they were given power over the earth. 004 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. They were commanded to avoid hurting the grass or anything green, but to attack anyone without the mark of God on their foreheads. 005 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. The people were to be tormented, as if they had been stung by a scorpion, but not killed, for five months. 006 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. In those days, people will desire death but not be able to find it, as death will evade them. 007 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. The shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle, with gold crowns on their human-like faces. 008 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. They had hair like women and teeth like lions. 009 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. Their breastplates resembled iron and the sound of their wings was like the sound of many chariots

running to battle. 010 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. The locusts had tails like scorpions and the power to hurt men for five months. 011 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. An angel king ruled over them from the bottomless pit, whose Hebrew name was "Abaddon," or "Apollyon" in Greek. 012 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter. With the first woe past, two more were to come. 013 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, The sixth angel blew the trumpet and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God. 014 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. "Release the four angels bound in the great river, Euphrates." 015 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. The four angels were prepared to slay a third of the people at this time. 016 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. I heard their army and it numbered two hundred thousand. 017 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. I saw the horses in the vision and their riders, with breastplates of fire, jacinth, and brimstone. The horses had the heads of lions and issued smoke and brimstone from their mouths. 018 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. They killed a third of the people with this smoke. 019 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. They had powerful tails like serpents and heads like battering rams. 020 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the

works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: The rest of the men, who were not killed by these plagues, but refused to repent. They continued to worship devils, idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, things which cannot see, hear, or walk. 021 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. They did not repent of their murders, sorceries, sexual immorality or thefts.

Chapter 10 001 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: Then, I saw another mighty angel descend from heaven, clothed in a cloud with a rainbow on his head. His face looked like the sun, and his feet were on fire. 002 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, He held open a little book and set his right foot in the sea and his left foot on the ground. 003 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. He cried with a loud voice, like a lion's roar, accompanied by seven thunders. 004 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. I was about to write, when I heard a voice from heaven. "Do not write what the seven thunders said." 005 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, The angel, who was standing in the sea and earth, lifted up his hand, 006 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: swearing by he, who lives forever and ever, the creator of the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the things therein, time would stop. 007 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. In the days of the voice of the seventh angel, the mystery of God was completed, as he declared to his servants, the prophets.

008 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth. The voice spoke again and said, "Take the little book from the angel, who stands in the sea and on the earth." 009 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. I went to the angel and said, "Give me the little book." He replied, "Take it and absorb it. It will make you sick, but it will taste as sweet as honey." 010 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. I took the book from the angel's hand and ate it up. It was sweet as honey, but soon, my belly was bitter. 011 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. He said, "You must prophesy again before many people and kings from around the world.

Chapter 11 001 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. Then, I was given a rod and the angel said, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those, who worship. 002 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. Leave out the temple, for it is given to the Gentiles. They will be given the holy city, Jerusalem, where they will tread for forty-two months. 003 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. I will two witnesses, clothed in burlap, power to prophesy for one thousand, two hundred sixty days." 004 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. These two are the two olive trees, or the two candlesticks, standing before the God of the earth. 005 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

If any man attempts to hurt them, fire will come from their mouths and devour their enemies. If any man tries to kill them, he will be destroyed by the fire. 006 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. They will have the power to shut heaven and prevent rain during their days of prophecy. They will have the power to turn water to blood, and to strike the earth with plagues at anytime. 007 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. When they finish their testimony, the beast will rise from the bottomless pit and make war against them. They will be killed, 008 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. and their bodies will like in the street of the great city, called "Sodom" and "Egypt," where the Lord was crucified. 009 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. Many people will see their bodies, but none will bury them. 010 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. They will rejoice over them and party, giving gifts to one another, because the two prophets tormented them. 011 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. After three and a half days, the spirit of life from God will enter them and they will stand on their feet. Great fear will sweep through the people, 012 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. as they hear a voice from heaven say, "Come up here." They will ascend to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies watch. 013 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. At the same time, a great earthquake will occur and destroy a tenth of the city and kill seven thousand people. The remaining people will be afraid and give glory to the God of heaven.

014 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. The second woe will be over, but the third will come quickly. 015 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. The seventh angel sounded the trumpet and great voices from heaven said, "The kingdoms of this world belong to the Lord and his Christ. He will reign forever and ever." 016 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, The twenty-four elders, who sat before God, fell on their faces and worshipped God. 017 Saying, We give thee thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. "We give thanks, oh Lord God Almighty, who is, was and are to come, because you have used your great power and reigned. 018 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. The nations are angry at your approaching wrath. It is time to judge the dead and reward your servants, prophets, holy people, and all, who fear your name. It is time to destroy the earth." 019 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. Then, the temple of God opened and the ark of his testament appeared. Lightning flashed and thunder roared, along with earthquakes and great hailstorms.

Chapter 12 001 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: Then, I saw a great wonder in the sky. A woman, clothed in shining light with the moon under feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head, appeared. 002 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. She was crying from the pains of child birth. 003 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his

heads. A great red dragon with seven crowned heads and ten horns appeared in the sky. 004 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. His tail gathered a third of the stars and threw them to the earth. He stood before the woman, who was ready to deliver, in order to eat her child as soon as it was born. 005 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. She delivered a male child, who was to rule all the nations with an iron rod, and the child was caught up to God and his throne. 006 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. The woman fled into the wilderness, where God had a place prepared and she would be fed for one thousand, two hundred sixty days. 007 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, A war began in heaven, with Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. 008 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. The dragon lost the battle and was cast out of heaven. 009 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. He was the Devil, or Satan, who deceived the whole world. He was placed on the earth with his angels. 010 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Then, I heard a loud voice, "Now salvation is come, along with the strength and kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ. The enemy of our brothers and sister, who accused them day and night before God, is gone. 011 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. They did not love their lives, as they traded it for death. 012 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short

time. So, rejoice everyone in heaven and on earth. Terrible things will happen to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea, for the devil is coming to you with great wrath because he knows he has only a short time." 013 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. When the dragon saw he was on earth, he persecuted the woman, who delivered the male child. 014 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. However, she was given two wings like those of an eagle to fly into the wilderness to her temporary place of nourishment. 015 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. The serpent spewed water, like a flood, after the woman, hoping she would be carried away, 016 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. but the earth opened and absorbed the waters. 017 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The dragon was angry with the woman and went to make war with the rest of her children, who kept the commandments of God and had the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Chapter 13 001 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. As I stood on the sand of the sea, I saw a beast rise up with seven crowned heads and ten horns. On each head, was a blasphemous name for God. 002 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. The beast resembled a leopard, but his feet were like those of a bear. His mouth was like a lion, and he had power from the dragon. 003 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. One of his heads looked mortally

wounded, but it healed and the world wondered about the beast. 004 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? They worshipped the dragon, who gave power to the beast. They worshipped the beast, too. "Who is greater than the beast? Who can conquer him?" they asked. 005 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. The beast replied with great blasphemies, and his power continued for forty-two months. 006 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. He spoke blasphemy against God, his tabernacle, and all those, who dwelled in heaven. 007 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. He made war with the saints and all people throughout the world. 008 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. All, who dwelled on earth, worshipped him, but their names were not written in the book of life of the Lamb, who was slain. 009 If any man have an ear, let him hear. So, if any man has ears, let him hear. 010 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. Anyone, who leads others to prison, will also be imprisoned. Anyone, who kills with the sword, will also be killed with the sword. This means the patience and faith of the saints will prevail. 011 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. Then, another beast came from the earth. He had two horns like a lamb and spoke like the dragon. 012 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He had all the power of the first beast, in which he used to cause the people on earth to worship the first beast, whose first wound was healed. 013 And he doeth great

wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, He did great wonder, making fire come down from heaven for the world to see. 014 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. He deceived the people by means of these miracles, encouraging them to create an idol of the leopard beast, who had the healed wound. 015 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. He had the power to give life to the idol, so the beast could speak, and killing anyone, who refused to worship the idol. 016 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: He made all the people, despite their circumstances, to accept a mark in their right hand or on their foreheads, 017 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. so no man could buy or sell without the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 018 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Now, we must have wisdom here, with regards to understanding the number of the beast. His number is six hundred sixty-six.

Chapter 14 001 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. Then I saw the Lamb standing on Mount Sion, with one hundred forty-four thousand. His Father's name was written on their foreheads. 002 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of rushing water or the roar of thunder. It sounded like harpists playing, 003 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the

earth. as they sang a new song before the throne, the beasts, and the elders. No man could learn the song, but the people with the Lamb, who had been redeemed. 004 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. They were people, who kept themselves pure as virgins, following the Lamb, wherever he went. they were redeemed among men, the first fruits of God to the Lamb. 005 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. They had no dishonesty and were without fault before the throne of God. 006 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Another angel flew in the midst of the sky, preaching the gospel to those on earth of every nation, race, and tongue. 007 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. With a loud voice, the angel said, "Fear God and give him glory, for the hour of judgment is now. Worship him, for he made heaven, earth, the sea, and the flowing waters." 008 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. Another angel followed, saying, "Babylon, that great city, has fallen, because she made all nations drink the wine of her wrath and fornication." 009 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, A third angel appeared and said in a loud voice, "If any man worship the beast and his image or receives the mark on his forehead or palm, 010 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: he will drink the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured from his cup of indignation. He will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and the lamb. 011 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. The smoke of their torment will rise

up forever and ever, and they will not have rest day or night." 012 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. See the patience of the saints, who kept the commandments of God and faith in Jesus. 013 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Then, I heard a voice from above saying, "Write this. Those who die for the Lord from now on are blessed. They may rest from their labor and they will be rewarded for their works." 014 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. I looked up and saw a white cloud. On the cloud, a man like the Son of man, with a golden crown, hold a sharp sickle, sat. 015 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. An angel came from the temple crying with a loud voice to the one on the cloud. "Thrust your sickle and reap, for the time has come to reap and the harvest of the earth is ripe." 016 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. The one on the cloud thrust the sickle onto the earth and reaped. 017 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. Another angel came from the heavenly temple, with a sharp sickle, 018 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. followed by an angel, who came from the altar. This angel had power over fire, and he cried loudly to the one with the sickle. "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are ripe." 019 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. The angel thrust in his sickle and gathered the vine of the earth and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 020 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred

furlongs. The grapes were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood came out, reaching the height of a horse's bridle for about 180 miles.

Chapter 15 001 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. I saw another marvelous sign in heaven, when seven angels carried the last seven plagues, fulfilling the wrath of God. 002 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. Then, I saw a sea of glass mixed with fire, on which stood those, who had defeated the beast, his image and refused the mark and his number. They had harps of God 003 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. and were singing the song of the servant, Moses, the song of the Lamb. "Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God Almighty. 004 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. Just and true are your ways, King of saints. Who will not fear you, oh Lord, and glorify your name. You alone are holy, and all the nations will come and worship before you. You judge the world." 005 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: Afterwards, I looked and saw the temple of the tabernacle was open. 006 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. The seven angels with the seven plagues came out. They were clothed in pure white linen, with golden belts. 007 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. One of the four beasts gave the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. 008 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

The temple filled with smoke from the glory and power of God and no one could enter until the seven plagues were completed.

Chapter 16 001 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. From the temple, a great voice said, "Go your ways and pour the vials of God's wrath onto the earth." 002 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. The first angel went and poured out his vial, and horrible sores fell on the people with the mark of the beast, because they had worshipped his image. 003 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. The second angel poured out his vial on the sea and it became the blood of dead men and every living soul died in the sea. 004 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. The third angel poured out his vial into the rivers and flowing waters, turning them into blood. 005 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. Then, I heard the angel of the waters say, "You are righteous, oh Lord, who is, was and always will be, because you have judged them justly. 006 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. They have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink, as a just reward." 007 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. Another angel from the altar said, "Oh, Lord God Almighty, your judgments are true and righteous." 008 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. The fourth angel poured out his vial on the sun, as he held the power to scorch men with fire. 009 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him

glory. Men were scorched with great heat, and they began to blaspheme the name of God, who had the power over the plagues. They did not repent or give him glory. 010 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, The fifth angel poured out his vial on the seat of the beast, filling his kingdom with darkness. They felt intense pain and gnawed their tongues, 011 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. blaspheming God, because of their pains and sores. Still, they did not repent of their evil deeds. 012 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. The sixth angel poured out his vial into the great river Euphrates. The water dried up, so the way of the kings from the east was prepared. 013 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. Three unclean spirits like frogs came out of the mouth of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. 014 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. They were the spirits of devils, working miracles to gather kings to fight on the day of God Almighty. 015 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. "Look, I will come like a thief, unexpectedly. The one, who watches and keeps himself pure, will be blessed. He will not walk around naked or in shame." 016 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. The demon spirits gathered the rulers together into a place called "Armageddon," in Hebrew. 017 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. Then, the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air. At this time, a great voice from the temple in heaven and the throne said, "It is done." 018 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

Voices like thunder and lightning followed, with earthquakes, like no man had ever seen. 019 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. The great city was divided into three parts and the cities of many nations fell. God remembered the sins of Babylon and gave her the fiercest cup of wine of his wrath. 020 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. Every island and mountain disappeared. 021 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. Then, a hailstorm fell on the people, with every stone weighing about seventy-five pounds. The men cursed God because of the plague of hail, for the plague was terrible.

Chapter 17 001 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: One of the seven angels, with the seven vials, came to me and said, "Come here. I will show you the judgment of the great whore, who sits on the waters, 002 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with her wine." 003 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. He carried me away into the wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a red beast with seven heads and ten horns, covered in blasphemous names of God. 004 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: The woman was dressed in red and purple, with precious stones and pearls. She had a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filth from her fornication. 005 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. On her forehead, "Mystery,

Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots, and Abominations of the Earth," was written. 006 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. The woman was drunk from the blood of the saints and martyrs of Jesus. I was in awe, when I saw her. 007 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The angel said to me, "Why are you amazed? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and the beast carrying her, with the seven heads and ten horns. 008 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. The beast you saw was alive, but is now dead. He will ascend from a bottomless pit and go to face eternal damnation. Those people, whose names were not written in the book of life since the beginning of the world, will see the beast and wonder about him, since he was dead. 009 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. It takes wisdom to understand this. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits. 010 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. There are seven kings, and five have fallen. The sixth remains and the seventh is coming, but his reign will be short. 011 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. The beast that was, but is no longer, was the eighth, and will be destroyed. 012 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. The ten horns represent ten kings, who have yet to receive a kingdom. They receive temporary power from the beast. 013 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. They have one mind, and will give their power and strength to the beast. 014 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. They will make war with the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them, for he is the Lord of lords and the King

of kings, called chosen and faithful." 015 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. Then, the angel said, "The waters you saw, where the whore sits, are people, from every part of the world. 016 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. The ten horns saved the beast. They will make the whore lonely and naked and will eat her flesh and burn her. 017 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. God has put his will into their hearts to agree and give their kingdom to the beast, until his words have been fulfilled. 018 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. The woman is that great city, which reigns over the kings of the world."

Chapter 18 001 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. After seeing this, I saw another angel come down from heaven with great power, enlightening the earth with his glory. 002 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. He cried with a mighty voice, "The great Babylon has fallen and now is the home of the devil and every foul spirit, the cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 003 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. All nations drank the wine of her wrath of fornication, and the kings of the earth have fornicated with her. The merchants of the earth grew rich from her many desires." 004 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Then, another voice said, "Come out of her, my people, and do not share in her sins, so you do not receive her plagues.

005 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Her sins have reached the heavens and God has remembered her mistakes. 006 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. Do to her as she has done to you, and double her penalties. She filled her cup with trouble, so double your cup to her. 007 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. She has glorified herself and lived with no regrets. She will receive much torment and sorrow, for she felt in her heart she was a queen, not a widow. 008 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. Therefore, she will have plagues come, followed by death, mourning, and famine. She will be burned with fire, for the Lord, who judges her, is strong." 009 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, The kings of the earth, who have committed adultery with her and lived according to her desires, will cry and mourn for her, as they watch her go up in smoke. 010 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. They will stand at a distance for fear of her torment and say, 'At last, the great city of Babylon has been judged." 011 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn for her, for no man will be able to sell merchandise anymore. 012 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, They sold gold, silver, precious stones, and pearls. They carried fine linen, purple cloth, silk, and red wool. They provided many types of wood, brass, iron, and marble, 013 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. in addition to spices and food. They

traded animals like sheep, horses, slaves and men. 014 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. The fruits of their soul's lust are gone and all good things have departed, to be found never again. 015 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, The merchants of these things, made rich by her, will stand far off and cry for fear of her torment. 016 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! "At last the great city, clothed in linen, and red and purple cloth, adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls, is gone. 017 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, In one hour, great riches were destroyed. Every captain and sailor stood at a distant and watched the city burn. 018 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! "What city is as great as this?" they cried. 019 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. They cast dust on their heads and mourned. "At last, that great city, where we were made rich, has lost all her ships and been destroyed in less than hour. 020 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. Rejoice over her, you holy apostles and prophets in heaven, for God has avenged you." 021 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. Then, a mighty angel picked a great stone and threw it into the sea. He said, "With violence, your great city of Babylon will be destroyed and wiped from the earth. The music of harpists, musicians, pipers, and trumpeters will be heard no more. No craftsman of any kind will be found, and the millstone will be heard no more. 023 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy

sorceries were all nations deceived. The light of a candle will no longer shine among you, and the voice of the bride and groom will be silenced. Your merchants, great men, deceived many nations, 024 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. as the city was home to the blood of the prophets, saints, and all, who were slain on the earth."

Chapter 19 001 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: After these things occurred, I heard a great voice of many people in heaven say, "Hallelujah! Salvation, glory, honor, and power belongs to the Lord, our God. 002 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. His judgments are true and just. He has judged the great whore, who corrupted the earth with her sins. He has avenged the blood of his servants, killed by her hand. 003 And again they said, Alleluia And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. Hallelujah! The smoke from her will rise up forever and ever." 004 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. The twenty-four elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God, sitting on the throne. "Amen! Hallelujah!" 005 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. Then, a voice came from the throne, "Praise our God, all you servants who fear him, both small and great." 006 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Many voices from a great crowd, arose like ocean waves, thundering, "Hallelujah, the Lord God reigns powerfully. 007 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. Let us be glad and rejoice, giving him the honor. The marriage of the Lamb is here and his wife has made herself ready. 008 And to her was granted

that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. She was given fine linen, clean and white, like the righteousness of the saints." 009 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. Then, the voice said to me, "Write this down. You, who have been called to the marriage feast of the Lamb, is blessed. These are the true words of God." 010 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. I fell at his feet to worship him, and he said, "Do not worship me, for I am your fellow servant and your brother of the testimony of Jesus. Worship God for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." 011 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. I saw heaven open and a white horse appeared. The one, who sat on him, was called "Faithful and True". He was responsible for judging and making war. 012 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. His eyes were like fire, and he had many crowns on his head. Nobody knew his name except himself. 013 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. He was clothed with a vest dipped in blood and his name "The Word of God." 014 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. The heavenly armies followed him, and they were dressed in fine, white linen. 015 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. A sharp sword came from his mouth to smite the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod and tread the winepress of God's wrath and fierceness. 016 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. "King of kings," and "Lord of lords" was written on his vest. 017 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

An angel was standing in the sun, crying with a loud voice to all the birds flying in heaven, "Come and gather yourselves to eat of the food of God. 018 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. You may eat the flesh of kings, captains, mighty men, horses, and their riders. You may feast on me both free and enslaved, both great and small." 019 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. Then, I saw the beast and the kings with their armies, prepared to fight against the one on the horse. 020 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. The beast was captured, along with the prophet, who performed miracles to deceive the people, who received the mark of the beast and worshipped him. They were all cast into a fiery lake of burning brimstone. 021 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. The rest were killed with the sword of the one on the horse, and the birds devoured their flesh.

Chapter 20 001 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. At this time, an angel came down from heaven, with a key to the bottomless pit and a chain. 002 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, He grabbed the dragon, which was the Devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 003 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. He cast him into the bottomless pit and sealed him, so he could not deceive the nations any more. After a thousand years, he could be released for a time. 004 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither

his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Then, I saw thrones, and those, who sat on them, had the ability to judge. I saw the souls of those, who were beheaded for serving Jesus and the word of God, who never worshipped the beast or his image, or carried the mark on their foreheads or hands. They lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 005 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. The rest of the dead were not resurrected until the end of one thousand years, for this was the first resurrection. 006 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. The first to be resurrected were blessed, becoming priests of God and of Christ and reigning with him for a thousand years. 007 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, At the end of the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison 008 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. and will go out to deceive the nations, divided into Gog and Magog. I saw him gather them together for battle, and they were as great in number as the sand of the sea. 009 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. They came up and surrounded the holy city of the saints, but fire from heaven devoured them. 010 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Then, the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into a fiery lake of brimstone, where he joined the beast and the false prophet. He was tormented day and night forever and ever. 011 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. I saw a great white throne and one, who sat on it and whose face could not be looked upon, and there was no place for those left behind. 012 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books,

according to their works. I saw the dead, both small and great, stand before God. The books were opened, including the book of life, and the dead were judged according to the contents of the books, which recorded the works of the dead. 013 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. The sea gave up its dead, as well as death and hell. All were judged according to their works. 014 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Then, death and hell were cast into the lake of fire, signifying the second death. 015 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Whoever was absent from the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire, too.

Chapter 21 001 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth passed away. The sea disappeared. 002 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. I, John, saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God, like a bride prepared and adorned for her husband. 003 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. I heard a great voice from heaven say, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people and God will live with them and be their God. 004 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. He will wipe away all tears form their eyes and there will be no more death, sorrow, or crying. No more pain will come to them, for the former things have passed away. 005 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 006 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life

freely. Then, the voice said to me, "It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give the fountain of life freely to anyone, who is thirsty. 007 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. Everyone, who is victorious, will inherit from me, I will be their God, and they will be my children. 008 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. However, the fearful nonbelievers, abominable murderers, liars, immoral people, and those, who practice sorcery or witchcraft, will burn in the fiery lake, which is the second death." 009 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. One of the seven angels with the seven vials of the seven plagues came to me and said, "Come here. I will show you the bride of the Lamb." 010 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, He carried me away in the spirit to a high mountain and showed me the holy city of Jerusalem, descending from heaven. 011 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; It shone with the glory of God and her light was like a precious stone, like jasper or crystal. 012 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: It had a great wall with twelve gates, guarded by twelve angels. On each of the gates was a name from the twelve tribes of the children of Israel. 013 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. Three gates were located in the east, three in the west, three in the north and three in the south. 014 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and these were inscribed with the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 015 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates

thereof, and the wall thereof. The angel, who talked with me, had a golden rod to measure the city, gates, and wall. 016 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. The city was a complete square, with equal length, height, and width of one thousand, four hundred miles. 017 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. The wall, which was two hundred sixteen feet thick, 018 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. was made of jasper, and the city was gold so pure it appeared to be glass. 019 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; The foundations of the wall were adorned with precious stones. The first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third, chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 020 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolyte, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprasus, the eleventh jacinth, and he twelfth amethyst. 021 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. The twelve gates were twelve pearls, and the streets were pure gold transparent as glass. 022 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. I did not see a temple within, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple inside. 023 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. The city did not need the sun or the moon, for the glory of God and the light of the Lamb filled it with light. 024 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. The nations of the saved will walk in the light and kings of the earth will bring their glory and honor to it.

025 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. The gates will not be shut, for there will be no night, 026 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. and all the nations will bring their glory and honor. 027 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. Nothing evil will be able to enter; only those, whose names were written in the Lamb's book of life.

Chapter 22 001 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. Then, the angel showed me a pure river of living water, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and the Lamb. 002 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. It ran down the middle of the street and on either side were trees of life, bearing twelve different types of fruit, one for every month. The leaves of the trees were able to heal the nations. 003 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: In the city, curses will be no more, because the throne of God and Lamb are there, where their servants will worship them. 004 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. They will see his face and his name will be written on their foreheads. 005 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. No night will come and they will not need candles or light form the sun, for the Lord God will give them light and they will reign forever and ever. 006 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. The angel told me, "Everything you have heard and seen are true. The Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show his servants the future." 007 Behold, I come

quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. "Behold, I come quickly, and blessed is the one, who keeps the prophecies of this book." 008 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. I, John, saw and heard these things. Afterwards, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel, who showed me. 009 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. Then, he said to me, "Do not worship me. I am a fellow servant, and belong to the prophets and those, who keep the prophecies from this book. Worship God." 010 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. Then, he said, "Do not hide the prophecies of this book, for the time of the Lord is near. 011 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. Let anyone, who is unjust or filthy, remain the way they are. In the same way, let anyone, who is righteous or holy, remain that way." " 012 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Look, I am coming quickly and my reward is with me to give to every man and woman, according to their works. 013 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." 014 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Those, who keep his commandments, may receive the tree of life and enter the city through the gates. 015 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Outside the city are dogs, sorcerers, prostitutes, murderers, idolaters, and liars. 016 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. "I, Jesus have sent my angels to testify to you about the things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, morning star." 017 And the Spirit and the

bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. The Spirit and the bride say, "Come and let anyone, who hears, say, 'Come.' Let anyone, who is thirsty come, and whoever desires, let him take the water of life. 018 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: I promise to anyone, who hears the words of the prophecies in this book and tries to add to them, they will receive the plagues written in this book. 019 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Also, if any man takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his name out of the book of life and out of the holy city. 020 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Whoever is a faithful witness to these prophecies says, "Surely, Jesus is coming quickly. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus, come!" 021 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Modern Version Chapter 1 This is a revelation of Jesus Christ, given to him by God to show his servants things to come. He sent this revelation by an angel to his servant John, who gave a personal record of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. The one, who reads this or hears the words of prophecy and obeys will be blessed. This letter is from John to the seven churches in Asia. May grace and peace from the Seven Spirits before the throne, Jesus Christ, and the one, who is, who was, and who is to come, be with you. Jesus is the faithful witness and the first to be raised from the dead. He is the prince of king, who loved us and saved us from our sins with his own blood. He has made us kings and priests to God, his Father. May he have the glory and power forever and ever. Amen. Look, he comes with the clouds, and every eye will see him. Even those, who killed him, along with the rest of the earth will cry for him. "I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end," says the Lord. He is the Almighty, the one, who is, who was, and who is to come. On the day of the Lord, I was filled with the Spirit, when I heard a great voice speaking, like a trumpet. It said, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. You will write in a book what you see and send it to the seven churches in Asia, Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis,

Philadelphia, and Laodicea." I turned to see the voice, and saw seven golden candlesticks. In the middle of the candles was a figure like the Son of man, clothed in a flowing garment down to his feet and belted with a golden sash. His hair was like wool and white as snow. His eyes burned fire, and his feet appeared to enflamed. His voice was as soothing as the sound of running water. In his right hand, he held seven stars, and he pulled a sharp two-edged sword from his mouth. He shone like the sun, demonstrating his strength. When I saw him, I fell at his feet, as though I were dead. He laid his right hand on me and said, "Do not fear, for I am the first and the last. I am the one, who lives and never dies. Look, I live forever. Amen. I hold the keys to hell and death. Write about the things you have seen and the things to come. This is the mystery of the seven stars, you saw in my right hand, and the seven candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches and the seven candlesticks are the churches.

Chapter 2 Write to the angel of the church of Ephesus. This is the message of the one, who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden candlesticks. "I know your works and your labor. I know your patience and how you resist against those, who are evil. I know you have tested false apostles and found them to be liars. You have endured suffering and been patient for my name's sake, without growing faint. Nevertheless, I have something against you, because you have left your first love. Remember, how you used to love me before you fell. Repent and turn back, or else I will come to you and remove your candlestick. In your favor, you do hate the Nicolaitanes, whom I also hate. So, whoever has ears, let him hear the Spirit as it speaks to the churches, saying, 'Whoever overcomes evil will be given the fruit of the tree of life, which is in the middle of God's paradise.'" Write to the angel of the church in Smyrna. Tell them this is the message of the one, who is the first and the last, who was dead, but now alive. "I know your works and how you suffer from poverty. But, oh how you are rich! I know people live among you, who say they are Jews, but they are from Satan. Do not fear your suffering, but look, the devil will try to take some of you into his prison. You will be tested and have problems for ten days. Be faithful, even to your death, and I will give you the crown of life. Whoever has ears, let him hear the Spirit speaking to the church, saying, 'Whoever is victorious, will not die a second death.'" Write to the angel of the church in Pergamos. Tell them this is the message from he, who holds the sharp, two-edged sword. "I know your works and where your heart dwells. I even know the home of Satan. You hold onto my name and have not denied the faith, even when Antipas was martyred among you. However, I have a few things against you, because you allow some, who hold the law of Balaam, to live among you. Balaam taught Balac to entice the children of Israel to eat sacrifices to idols and commit impure sexual acts. You also have some, who have the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, whom I hate, among you. Repent, or I will come to you and fight against them with the sword from my mouth. Whoever has ears let him hear what the Spirit speaks to the church, saying, 'Whoever remains faithful will eat the hidden manna

and will be given a white stone, on which a new name will be written especially for them.'" Write to the angel of the church in Thyatira. Tell them this message is from the Son of God, who has eyes like fire and feet that rest on fine brass. "I know your works, love, service, and faith. You are patient and continue to improve in your faith. However, I have a few things against you, because you allow Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce my servants to perform immoral acts. I gave her time to repent for her sins, but she did not. I will cast her into a bed of great tribulation, along with those, who commit adultery with her, unless they repent of their sins. I will kill her children, and you will know I am the one, who searches hearts and gives everyone according to their works. For those of you, who have not followed her false doctrine, I will not put nothing else on you. Just remain faithful until I come. Whoever, overcomes evil and keeps my commandments, will have power over the nations. he will rule with a rod of iron and the vessels of the potter will be broken into pieces. They will have the same authority as me, which I received from the Father. I will also give him them the morning star, so whoever, has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

Chapter 3 Write to the angel of the church in Sardis. Tell them this is the message from the one, who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars. "I know your works and you have a reputation for being alive, although you are dead. Be careful and strengthen what remains, so you are ready to die, for I have not found your works for God to be perfect. Remember, how you have heard and received the word of God. Hold fast and repent, or I will come to you like a thief and you will not know the time. You have a few in Sardis, who have not defiled their heavenly garments and they will walk with me, adorned in white, for they are worthy. Anyone, who overcomes sin, will be given the same clothing, and I will not remove his name from the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and his angels. Whoever, has ears, let him hear what the Spirit speaks to the churches." Write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia. Tell them this message is from the true and holy one, who has the key of David, and what he opens, no one can open or close. "I know your works and I have opened a door for you no one can close. You have little strength and have kept my word. You have not denied me, so I will make those, who claim to be Jews and worship in the synagogue of Satan, bow down before you. They will know how I have loved you, because you have kept my word. I will also keep you from the hour of temptation, which will come on the world and its inhabitants. I will come quickly, so hold on to your faith and let no man take your crown. Anyone, who overcomes, I will make a pillar in the temple of God, where they will live forever. I will write the name of God and his city, which is Jerusalem, on him. I will also write my new name. Whoever has ears, let him hear what the Spirit speaks to the churches." Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea. Tell them this is the message from the faithful and true witness of God, who has lived since the beginning. "I know your works and they are neither good or bad. I would rather they were one or the other. Since you rest in the middle, I will reject you.

You say you are rich and need nothing, but I know you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. I tell you to buy gold from me, which has been tested by the fire. With this gold, you may be clothed and cover your nakedness. You may buy medicine to heal your eyes. Even though I love you, I rebuke and discipline you. So, regain your zealous spirit and repent. I stand at the door and knock, so if anyone hears my voice, let him open the door. I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. Whoever, overcomes sin, I will give a throne to sit with me. I had to overcome sin and now, I sit with the Father in his throne room. Whoever, has ears, let him hear what the Spirit speaks to the churches."

Chapter 4 After he spoke, I looked and saw a door to heaven opened. The first voice sounded like a trumpet. It said, "Come up here, and I will show you things to come." Immediately, I was in the spirit and saw a throne in heaven. One sat on the throne, and he shined like brilliant gems. A rainbow surrounded the throne and twenty-four seats sat nearby. Twenty-four elders sat in the seats, each clothed in dazzling, white garments. They had gold crowns on their heads. Lightning and thundering voices came from the throne and seven lamps burned before it, indicating the seven Spirits of God. Before the throne, a sea of glass like crystal swirled and four beasts with many eyes sat in front and behind the seat. The first beast was like a lion and the second was like a calf. The third beat had the face of a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle. Each beast had six wings and many eyes. They did not rest, but cried, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, is and is to come." When those beasts gave glory, honor, and thanks to the one on the throne, who lives forever, the twenty-four elders fell down and worshipped him. They threw their crowns before him and said, "You are worthy, oh Lord, to receive all the glory, honor, and power. You have created all things and we were created for your pleasure."

Chapter 5 In the right hand of the one, who sat on the throne, was a book, with words written on the front and back, and sealed with seven seals. I saw a strong angel proclaiming in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the book and break the seals?" No man in heaven, earth, or beneath the earth was able to open or look inside the book. I began to cry, because no man was worthy to open and read the book. One of the elders said to me, "Do not cry. Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, is capable of opening the book and breaking the seals." Then, I looked and saw the four beasts in the middle of the throne. Among the elders, a Lamb appeared, as if it had been slain. It had seven horns and seven eyes, representing the seven Spirits of God sent throughout the earth. He came and took the book from the right hand of the one on the throne. Then, the four beasts and twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and golden vials filled with perfume, which are the prayers of the saints. They sung a new song. "You are worthy to take the book and open the seals, for you were slain and have redeemed us to God. With your blood, you saved a multitude of people from every nation, making us kings and priests of men on earth, where we will reign. I saw and

heard the voice of many angels around the throne, with the sounds from the beasts and elders. It sounded like the voice of thousands and thousands. United, they said, "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain to receive power, riches, wisdom, ad strength. He has honor, glory, and blessings. Then, I heard every creature on heaven and earth, under the earth and in the sea, say, "Blessings, honor, glory, and power be his, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever." The four beasts said, "Amen." and the elders knelt down and worshipped the one, who lives forever.

Chapter 6 Then, I saw the Lamb open one of the seals and heard a clap of thunder, as one of the four beasts said, "Come and see." I saw a white horse, his rider held a bow. A crown was given to him and he forward to conquer. When the second seal was open, I heard the second beast say, "Come and see." Another horse, that was red, was given power to take peace from the earth, so people would kill one another. A great sword was given to him. When he opened the third seal, the third beast said, "Come and see." A black horse appeared with a rider, who had a pair of balances in his hand. I heard a voice, amidst the beasts, say, "Give a portion of daily bread for a day's wages, but do not hurt the oil and wine." After the fourth seal was broken, I heard the voice of the fourth beast, say, "Come and see." I saw a pale horse, whose rider was Death and he was followed by Hell. The power was given to him over a fourth of the earth to kill with sword, hunger, diseases, and wild animals. When the fifth seal was open, I saw souls of those, who were slain for the word of God and their testimony, under the altar. They cried in a loud voice, "How long, oh holy and true Lord, before you judge and avenge our blood on those, who live on earth? White robes were given to every one of them, and they were told to rest, until their brothers, who would suffer as they did, joined them. I saw him open the sixth seal and a great earthquake came and the sun became dark as black cloth and the moon turned the color of blood. The stars of heaven fell onto the earth, like the fruit from a fig tree, when shaken by mighty winds. The heavens opened like a scroll and rolled together, moving every mountain and island. The kings, great men, and rich men of the earth, along with the chief captains, the mighty men, slave and free man hid in dens and rocks of the mountains. They cried out to the mountains, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one, who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, for the day of his wrath is here and who is able to stand?"

Chapter 7 Afterwards, I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so the wind could not blow. I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels, who held the power to hurt the earth and sea. "Do not hurt the earth, sea, or trees, until we have marked the servants of God on their foreheads." The number of the chosen from the tribes of Israel was one hundred forty-four thousand. Twelve thousand were chosen from the tribe of Juda, and twelve thousand from the tribe of Reuben. From the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand were marked, and from the tribe of Aser, twelve

thousand were marked. Twelve thousand were chosen from the tribes of Nephthalim, Manasses, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zabulon, Joseph, and Benjamin. Then, I saw a great crowd of people, no man could count from all nations and walks of life, before the lamb. They were clothed in white robes, with palms in their hands. Aloud voice cried, "Salvation from God, who sits on the throne and to the Lamb." All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and four beasts fell before the throne on their faces and worshipped God. "Amen. Blessings, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might be to God forever and ever. Amen." One of the elders said to me, "Who are those in white robes? From where did they come?" I replied, "Sir, you must know." He said, "These people are those, who came from the great tribulation. Their robes have been washed and made white by the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, they stand before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple, and he lives among them. They no longer hunger or thirst. They do not feel the heat from the sun, for the Lamb, who is among them, feeds them and leads them to living fountains of water. God wipes away all the tears from their eyes.

Chapter 8 When the seventh seal was opened, a silence filled the heavens for about half an hour. I saw the seven angels, who stood before God, with seven trumpets. Another angel came to the altar with a golden incense burner. He had a lot of incense to offer on the altar before the throne with prayers to the saints. The smoke of the incense drifted with the prayers of the saints before God. The angel took the burner and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it down on the earth. Thunder, lightning, and earthquakes shook the earth. The seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to blow. The first angel sounded the trumpet and hail and fire mingled with blood fell on the earth. A third of the trees and grass were burned. The second angel blew the trumpet and a great mountain, burning with fire, fell into the sea. A third of the sea turned to blood, and a third of the sea creatures died. A third of the ships at sea were destroyed. The third angel sounded and a great star, burning like a lamp, fell from heaven. A third of the rivers and lakes were destroyed. The name of the star was Wormwood and a third of the waters became bitter, like wormwood. The fourth angel blew the trumpet and a third of the sun was struck, long with a third of the moon and a third of the stars. As a result, a third of them was darkened, and a third of the day was dark, along with part of the night. Then, I saw and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven saying, "Woe, to all on earth when the last three trumpets sound!"

Chapter 9 The fifth angel sounded the trumpet and I saw a star fall from heaven onto the earth. The angel was given the key to the bottomless pit, which he opened. Smoke arose from the pit, like from a great furnace, darkening the sun and air. Locusts and scorpions escaped from the smoke and they were given power over the earth. They were commanded to avoid hurting the grass or anything green, but to attack anyone without the mark of God on their foreheads. The people were to be tormented, as if they

had been stung by a scorpion, but not killed, for five months. In those days, people will desire death but not be able to find it, as death will evade them. The shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle, with gold crowns on their human-like faces. They had hair like women and teeth like lions. Their breastplates resembled iron and the sound of their wings was like the sound of many chariots running to battle. The locusts had tails like scorpions and the power to hurt men for five months. An angel king ruled over them from the bottomless pit, whose Hebrew name was "Abaddon," or "Apollyon" in Greek. With the first woe past, two more were to come. The sixth angel blew the trumpet and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God. "Release the four angels bound in the great river, Euphrates." The four angels were prepared to slay a third of the people at this time. I heard their army and it numbered two hundred thousand. I saw the horses in the vision and their riders, with breastplates of fire, jacinth, and brimstone. The horses had the heads of lions and issued smoke and brimstone from their mouths. They killed a third of the people with this smoke. They had powerful tails like serpents and heads like battering rams. The rest of the men, who were not killed by these plagues, but refused to repent. They continued to worship devils, idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, things which cannot see, hear, or walk. They did not repent of their murders, sorceries, sexual immorality or thefts.

Chapter 10 Then, I saw another mighty angel descend from heaven, clothed in a cloud with a rainbow on his head. His face looked like the sun, and his feet were on fire. He held open a little book and set his right foot in the sea and his left foot on the ground. He cried with a loud voice, like a lion's roar, accompanied by seven thunders. I was about to write, when I heard a voice from heaven. "Do not write what the seven thunders said." The angel, who was standing in the sea and earth, lifted up his hand, swearing by he, who lives forever and ever, the creator of the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the things therein, time would stop. In the days of the voice of the seventh angel, the mystery of God was completed, as he declared to his servants, the prophets. The voice spoke again and said, "Take the little book from the angel, who stands in the sea and on the earth." I went to the angel and said, "Give me the little book." He replied, "Take it and absorb it. It will make you sick, but it will taste as sweet as honey." I took the book from the angel's hand and ate it up. It was sweet as honey, but soon, my belly was bitter. He said, "You must prophesy again before many people and kings from around the world.

Chapter 11 Then, I was given a rod and the angel said, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those, who worship. Leave out the temple, for it is given to the Gentiles. They will be given the holy city, Jerusalem, where they will tread for forty-two months. I will two witnesses, clothed in burlap, power to prophesy for one thousand, two hundred sixty days." These

two are the two olive trees, or the two candlesticks, standing before the God of the earth. If any man attempts to hurt them, fire will come from their mouths and devour their enemies. If any man tries to kill them, he will be destroyed by the fire. They will have the power to shut heaven and prevent rain during their days of prophecy. They will have the power to turn water to blood, and to strike the earth with plagues at anytime. When they finish their testimony, the beast will rise from the bottomless pit and make war against them. They will be killed, and their bodies will like in the street of the great city, called "Sodom" and "Egypt," where the Lord was crucified. Many people will see their bodies, but none will bury them. They will rejoice over them and party, giving gifts to one another, because the two prophets tormented them. After three and a half days, the spirit of life from God will enter them and they will stand on their feet. Great fear will sweep through the people, as they hear a voice from heaven say, "Come up here." They will ascend to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies watch. At the same time, a great earthquake will occur and destroy a tenth of the city and kill seven thousand people. The remaining people will be afraid and give glory to the God of heaven. The second woe will be over, but the third will come quickly. The seventh angel sounded the trumpet and great voices from heaven said, "The kingdoms of this world belong to the Lord and his Christ. He will reign forever and ever." The twenty-four elders, who sat before God, fell on their faces and worshipped God. "We give thanks, oh Lord God Almighty, who is, was and are to come, because you have used your great power and reigned. The nations are angry at your approaching wrath. It is time to judge the dead and reward your servants, prophets, holy people, and all, who fear your name. It is time to destroy the earth." Then, the temple of God opened and the ark of his testament appeared. Lightning flashed and thunder roared, along with earthquakes and great hailstorms.

Chapter 12 Then, I saw a great wonder in the sky. A woman, clothed in shining light with the moon under feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head, appeared. She was crying from the pains of child birth. A great red dragon with seven crowned heads and ten horns appeared in the sky. His tail gathered a third of the stars and threw them to the earth. He stood before the woman, who was ready to deliver, in order to eat her child as soon as it was born. She delivered a male child, who was to rule all the nations with an iron rod, and the child was caught up to God and his throne. The woman fled into the wilderness, where God had a place prepared and she would be fed for one thousand, two hundred sixty days. A war began in heaven, with Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. The dragon lost the battle and was cast out of heaven. He was the Devil, or Satan, who deceived the whole world. He was placed on the earth with his angels. Then, I heard a loud voice, "Now salvation is come, along with the strength and kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ. The enemy of our brothers and sister, who accused them day and night before God, is gone. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. They did not love their lives, as they traded it for death. So, rejoice everyone in heaven and on earth. Terrible things will happen to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea, for the devil is coming to you with great wrath because he knows he has

only a short time." When the dragon saw he was on earth, he persecuted the woman, who delivered the male child. However, she was given two wings like those of an eagle to fly into the wilderness to her temporary place of nourishment. The serpent spewed water, like a flood, after the woman, hoping she would be carried away, but the earth opened and absorbed the waters. The dragon was angry with the woman and went to make war with the rest of her children, who kept the commandments of God and had the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Chapter 13 As I stood on the sand of the sea, I saw a beast rise up with seven crowned heads and ten horns. On each head, was a blasphemous name for God. The beast resembled a leopard, but his feet were like those of a bear. His mouth was like a lion, and he had power from the dragon. One of his heads looked mortally wounded, but it healed and the world wondered about the beast. They worshipped the dragon, who gave power to the beast. They worshipped the beast, too. "Who is greater than the beast? Who can conquer him?" they asked. The beast replied with great blasphemies, and his power continued for forty-two months. He spoke blasphemy against God, his tabernacle, and all those, who dwelled in heaven. He made war with the saints and all people throughout the world. All, who dwelled on earth, worshipped him, but their names were not written in the book of life of the Lamb, who was slain. So, if any man has ears, let him hear. Anyone, who leads others to prison, will also be imprisoned. Anyone, who kills with the sword, will also be killed with the sword. This means the patience and faith of the saints will prevail. Then, another beast came from the earth. He had two horns like a lamb and spoke like the dragon. He had all the power of the first beast, in which he used to cause the people on earth to worship the first beast, whose first wound was healed. He did great wonder, making fire come down from heaven for the world to see. He deceived the people by means of these miracles, encouraging them to create an idol of the leopard beast, who had the healed wound. He had the power to give life to the idol, so the beast could speak, and killing anyone, who refused to worship the idol. He made all the people, despite their circumstances, to accept a mark in their right hand or on their foreheads, so no man could buy or sell without the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Now, we must have wisdom here, with regards to understanding the number of the beast. His number is six hundred sixty-six.

Chapter 14 Then I saw the Lamb standing on Mount Sion, with one hundred forty-four thousand. His Father's name was written on their foreheads. I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of rushing water or the roar of thunder. It sounded like harpists playing, as they sang a new song before the throne, the beasts, and the elders. No man could learn the song, but the people with the Lamb, who had been redeemed. They were people, who kept themselves pure as virgins, following the Lamb, wherever he went. they were redeemed among men, the first fruits of God to the Lamb. They had no dishonesty and were without fault before the throne of

God. Another angel flew in the midst of the sky, preaching the gospel to those on earth of every nation, race, and tongue. With a loud voice, the angel said, "Fear God and give him glory, for the hour of judgment is now. Worship him, for he made heaven, earth, the sea, and the flowing waters." Another angel followed, saying, "Babylon, that great city, has fallen, because she made all nations drink the wine of her wrath and fornication." A third angel appeared and said in a loud voice, "If any man worship the beast and his image or receives the mark on his forehead or palm, he will drink the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured from his cup of indignation. He will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and the lamb. The smoke of their torment will rise up forever and ever, and they will not have rest day or night." See the patience of the saints, who kept the commandments of God and faith in Jesus. Then, I heard a voice from above saying, "Write this. Those who die for the Lord from now on are blessed. They may rest from their labor and they will be rewarded for their works." I looked up and saw a white cloud. On the cloud, a man like the Son of man, with a golden crown, hold a sharp sickle, sat. An angel came from the temple crying with a loud voice to the one on the cloud. "Thrust your sickle and reap, for the time has come to reap and the harvest of the earth is ripe." The one on the cloud thrust the sickle onto the earth and reaped. Another angel came from the heavenly temple, with a sharp sickle, followed by an angel, who came from the altar. This angel had power over fire, and he cried loudly to the one with the sickle. "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are ripe." The angel thrust in his sickle and gathered the vine of the earth and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. The grapes were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood came out, reaching the height of a horse's bridle for about 180 miles.

Chapter 15 I saw another marvelous sign in heaven, when seven angels carried the last seven plagues, fulfilling the wrath of God. Then, I saw a sea of glass mixed with fire, on which stood those, who had defeated the beast, his image and refused the mark and his number. They had harps of God and were singing the song of the servant, Moses, the song of the Lamb. "Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of saints. Who will not fear you, oh Lord, and glorify your name. You alone are holy, and all the nations will come and worship before you. You judge the world." Afterwards, I looked and saw the temple of the tabernacle was open. The seven angels with the seven plagues came out. They were clothed in pure white linen, with golden belts. One of the four beasts gave the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever. The temple filled with smoke from the glory and power of God and no one could enter until the seven plagues were completed.

Chapter 16 From the temple, a great voice said,

"Go your ways and pour the vials of God's wrath onto the earth." The first angel went and poured out his vial, and horrible sores fell on the people with the mark of the beast, because they had worshipped his image. The second angel poured out his vial on the sea and it became the blood of dead men and every living soul died in the sea. The third angel poured out his vial into the rivers and flowing waters, turning them into blood. Then, I heard the angel of the waters say, "You are righteous, oh Lord, who is, was and always will be, because you have judged them justly. They have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink, as a just reward." Another angel from the altar said, "Oh, Lord God Almighty, your judgments are true and righteous." The fourth angel poured out his vial on the sun, as he held the power to scorch men with fire. Men were scorched with great heat, and they began to blaspheme the name of God, who had the power over the plagues. They did not repent or give him glory. The fifth angel poured out his vial on the seat of the beast, filling his kingdom with darkness. They felt intense pain and gnawed their tongues, blaspheming God, because of their pains and sores. Still, they did not repent of their evil deeds. The sixth angel poured out his vial into the great river Euphrates. The water dried up, so the way of the kings from the east was prepared. Three unclean spirits like frogs came out of the mouth of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. They were the spirits of devils, working miracles to gather kings to fight on the day of God Almighty. "Look, I will come like a thief, unexpectedly. The one, who watches and keeps himself pure, will be blessed. He will not walk around naked or in shame." The demon spirits gathered the rulers together into a place called "Armageddon," in Hebrew. Then, the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air. At this time, a great voice from the temple in heaven and the throne said, "It is done." Voices like thunder and lightning followed, with earthquakes, like no man had ever seen. The great city was divided into three parts and the cities of many nations fell. God remembered the sins of Babylon and gave her the fiercest cup of wine of his wrath. Every island and mountain disappeared. Then, a hailstorm fell on the people, with every stone weighing about seventy-five pounds. The men cursed God because of the plague of hail, for the plague was terrible.

Chapter 17 One of the seven angels, with the seven vials, came to me and said, "Come here. I will show you the judgment of the great whore, who sits on the waters, with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with her wine." He carried me away into the wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a red beast with seven heads and ten horns, covered in blasphemous names of God. The woman was dressed in red and purple, with precious stones and pearls. She had a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filth from her fornication. On her forehead, "Mystery, Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots, and Abominations of the Earth," was written. The woman was drunk from the blood of the saints and martyrs of Jesus. I was in awe, when I saw her. The angel said to me, "Why are you amazed? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and the beast carrying her, with the seven heads and ten horns. The beast you saw was alive, but is now dead. He will ascend from a bottomless pit and go to face eternal damnation. Those people, whose names were not written in the book of life since the

beginning of the world, will see the beast and wonder about him, since he was dead. It takes wisdom to understand this. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits. There are seven kings, and five have fallen. The sixth remains and the seventh is coming, but his reign will be short. The beast that was, but is no longer, was the eighth, and will be destroyed. The ten horns represent ten kings, who have yet to receive a kingdom. They receive temporary power from the beast. They have one mind, and will give their power and strength to the beast. They will make war with the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them, for he is the Lord of lords and the King of kings, called chosen and faithful." Then, the angel said, "The waters you saw, where the whore sits, are people, from every part of the world. God has put his will into their hearts to agree and give their kingdom to the beast, until his words have been fulfilled. The woman is that great city, which reigns over the kings of the world."

Chapter 18 After seeing this, I saw another angel come down from heaven with great power, enlightening the earth with his glory. He cried with a mighty voice, "The great Babylon has fallen and now is the home of the devil and every foul spirit, the cage of every unclean and hateful bird. All nations drank the wine of her wrath of fornication, and the kings of the earth have fornicated with her. The merchants of the earth grew rich from her many desires." Then, another voice said, "Come out of her, my people, and do not share in her sins, so you do not receive her plagues. Her sins have reached the heavens and God has remembered her mistakes. Do to her as she has done to you, and double her penalties. She filled her cup with trouble, so double your cup to her. She has glorified herself and lived with no regrets. She will receive much torment and sorrow, for she felt in her heart she was a queen, not a widow. Therefore, she will have plagues come, followed by death, mourning, and famine. She will be burned with fire, for the Lord, who judges her, is strong." The kings of the earth, who have committed adultery with her and lived according to her desires, will cry and mourn for her, as they watch her go up in smoke. They will stand at a distance for fear of her torment and say, 'At last, the great city of Babylon has been judged." The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn for her, for no man will be able to sell merchandise anymore. They sold gold, silver, precious stones, and pearls. They carried fine linen, purple cloth, silk, and red wool. They provided many types of wood, brass, iron, and marble, in addition to spices and food. They traded animals like sheep, horses, slaves and men. The fruits of their soul's lust are gone and all good things have departed, to be found never again. The merchants of these things, made rich by her, will stand far off and cry for fear of her torment. "At last the great city, clothed in linen, and red and purple cloth, adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls, is gone. In one hour, great riches were destroyed. Every captain and sailor stood at a distant and watched the city burn. "What city is as great as this?" they cried. They cast dust on their heads and mourned. "At last, that great city, where we were made rich, has lost all her ships and been destroyed in less than hour. Rejoice over her, you holy apostles and prophets in heaven, for God has avenged you." Then, a mighty angel picked a great stone and threw it into the sea. He said, "With violence, your great city of Babylon will be destroyed and

wiped from the earth. The music of harpists, musicians, pipers, and trumpeters will be heard no more. No craftsman of any kind will be found, and the millstone will be heard no more. The light of a candle will no longer shine among you, and the voice of the bride and groom will be silenced. Your merchants, great men, deceived many nations, as the city was home to the blood of the prophets, saints, and all, who were slain on the earth."

Chapter 19 After these things occurred, I heard a great voice of many people in heaven say, "Hallelujah! Salvation, glory, honor, and power belongs to the Lord, our God. His judgments are true and just. He has judged the great whore, who corrupted the earth with her sins. He has avenged the blood of his servants, killed by her hand. Hallelujah! The smoke from her will rise up forever and ever." The twenty-four elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God, sitting on the throne. "Amen! Hallelujah!" Then, a voice came from the throne, "Praise our God, all you servants who fear him, both small and great." Many voices from a great crowd, arose like ocean waves, thundering, "Hallelujah, the Lord God reigns powerfully. Let us be glad and rejoice, giving him the honor. The marriage of the Lamb is here and his wife has made herself ready. She was given fine linen, clean and white, like the righteousness of the saints." Then, the voice said to me, "Write this down. You, who have been called to the marriage feast of the Lamb, is blessed. These are the true words of God." I fell at his feet to worship him, and he said, "Do not worship me, for I am your fellow servant and your brother of the testimony of Jesus. Worship God for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." I saw heaven open and a white horse appeared. The one, who sat on him, was called "Faithful and True". He was responsible for judging and making war. He was clothed with a vest dipped in blood and his name "The Word of God." The heavenly armies followed him, and they were dressed in fine, white linen. A sharp sword came from his mouth to smite the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod and tread the winepress of God's wrath and fierceness. "King of kings," and "Lord of lords" was written on his vest. An angel was standing in the sun, crying with a loud voice to all the birds flying in heaven, "Come and gather yourselves to eat of the food of God. You may eat the flesh of kings, captains, mighty men, horses, and their riders. You may feast on me both free and enslaved, both great and small." Then, I saw the beast and the kings with their armies, prepared to fight against the one on the horse. The beast was captured, along with the prophet, who performed miracles to deceive the people, who received the mark of the beast and worshipped him. They were all cast into a fiery lake of burning brimstone. The rest were killed with the sword of the one on the horse, and the birds devoured their flesh.

Chapter 20 At this time, an angel came down from heaven, with a key to the bottomless pit and a chain. He grabbed the dragon, which was the Devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He cast him into the bottomless pit and sealed him, so he could not deceive the nations any more. After a thousand years, he could be released for a time. Then, I saw thrones, and

those, who sat on them, had the ability to judge. I saw the souls of those, who were beheaded for serving Jesus and the word of God, who never worshipped the beast or his image, or carried the mark on their foreheads or hands. They lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead were not resurrected until the end of one thousand years, for this was the first resurrection. The first to be resurrected were blessed, becoming priests of God and of Christ and reigning with him for a thousand years. At the end of the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations, divided into Gog and Magog. I saw him gather them together for battle, and they were as great in number as the sand of the sea. They came up and surrounded the holy city of the saints, but fire from heaven devoured them. Then, the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into a fiery lake of brimstone, where he joined the beast and the false prophet. He was tormented day and night forever and ever. I saw a great white throne and one, who sat on it and whose face could not be looked upon, and there was no place for those left behind. I saw the dead, both small and great, stand before God. The books were opened, including the book of life, and the dead were judged according to the contents of the books, which recorded the works of the dead. The sea gave up its dead, as well as death and hell. All were judged according to their works. Then, death and hell were cast into the lake of fire, signifying the second death. Whoever was absent from the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire, too.

Chapter 21 I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth passed away. The sea disappeared. I, John, saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God, like a bride prepared and adorned for her husband. I heard a great voice from heaven say, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people and God will live with them and be their God. he will wipe away all tears form their eyes and there will be no more death, sorrow, or crying. No more pain will come to them, for the former things have passed away. Then, the voice said to me, "It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give the fountain of life freely to anyone, who is thirsty. Everyone, who is victorious, will inherit from me, I will be their God, and they will be my children. However, the fearful nonbelievers, abominable murderers, liars, immoral people, and those, who practice sorcery or witchcraft, will burn in the fiery lake, which is the second death." One of the seven angels with the seven vials of the seven plagues came to me and said, "Come here. I will show you the bride of the Lamb." He carried me away in the spirit to a high mountain and showed me the holy city of Jerusalem, descending from heaven. It shone with the glory of God and her light was like a precious stone, like jasper or crystal. It had a great wall with twelve gates, guarded by twelve angels. On each of the gates was a name from the twelve tribes of the children of Israel. Three gates were located in the east, three in the west, three in the north and three in the south. The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and these were inscribed with the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. The angel, who talked with me, had a golden rod to measure the city, gates, and wall. The city was a complete square, with equal length,

height, and width of one thousand, four hundred miles. The wall, which was two hundred sixteen feet thick, was made of jasper, and the city was gold so pure it appeared to be glass. the foundations of the wall were adorned with precious stones. The first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third, chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolyte, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprasus, the eleventh jacinth, and he twelfth amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls, and the streets were pure gold transparent as glass. I did not see a temple within, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple inside. The city did not need the sun or the moon, for the glory of God and the light of the Lamb filled it with light. The nations of the saved will walk in the light and kings of the earth will bring their glory and honor to it. The gates will not be shut, for there will be no night, and all the nations will bring their glory and honor. Nothing evil will be able to enter; only those, whose names were written in the Lamb's book of life.

Chapter 22 Then, the angel showed me a pure river of living water, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and the Lamb. It ran down the middle of the street and on either side were trees of life, bearing twelve different types of fruit, one for every month. The leaves of the trees were able to heal the nations. In the city, curses will be no more, because the throne of God and Lamb are there, where their servants will worship them. They will see his face and his name will be written on their foreheads. No night will come and they will not need candles or light form the sun, for the Lord God will give them light and they will reign forever and ever. The angel told me, "Everything you have heard and seen are true. The Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show his servants the future." "Behold, I come quickly, and blessed is the one, who keeps the prophecies of this book." I, John, saw and heard these things. Afterwards, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel, who showed me. Then, he said to me, "Do not worship me. I am a fellow servant, and belong to the prophets and those, who keep the prophecies from this book. Worship God." Then, he said, "Do not hide the prophecies of this book, for the time of the Lord is near. Let anyone, who is unjust or filthy, remain the way they are. In the same way, let anyone, who is righteous or holy, remain that way." "Look, I am coming quickly and my reward is with me to give to every man and woman, according to their works. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." Those, who keep his commandments, may receive the tree of life and enter the city through the gates. Outside the city are dogs, sorcerers, prostitutes, murderers, idolaters, and liars. "I, Jesus have sent my angels to testify to you about the things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, morning star." The Spirit and the bride say, "Come and let anyone, who hears, say, 'Come.' Let anyone, who is thirsty come, and whoever desires, let him take the water of life. I promise to anyone, who hears the words of the prophecies in this book and tries to add to them, they will receive the plagues written in this book. Also, if any man takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his name out of the book of life and out of the holy city. Whoever is a faithful witness to these

prophecies says, "Surely, Jesus is coming quickly. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus, come!" May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
