Lewisham Labour Freezes Council Tax

Mayor Steve Bullock recently announced plans to freeze council tax next year, to help local people with the cost of living crisis. This is the third time in the last four years that council tax has been frozen With wages falling far behind inflation and Coalition welfare cuts, working people are now 1,600 a year worse off than they were in 2010. As well as freezing your council tax, Labour have promised to freeze energy bills until 2017 if Ed Miliband is elected. Living Wage Lewisham


Our Parliamentary Candidate Vicky Foxcroft will be leading a campaign to encourage more local employers to pay the Living Wage.
