Bullying
The recent bullying statistics report discloses that one of ten children is attacked by cyber bullies each and every month. One of five children has been cyber bullied at least once in a lifetime. The worst part of it is that almost 70% of victims know the attackers, but almost quarter of them does nothing to prevent the attacks and to stop the bullies. 25% of children never tell their parents or other authorities that they are constantly harassed by cyber bullies. The events of cyber bullying occur even when children are still very small. But the older children become, the more frequently they harass other kids via online sources and text messages. The number of attacks reaches its peak by the time children become teenagers. If you add verbal bullying and physical harassment to the events of cyber abuse, bullying statistics will seem really frightening.

Kids who are bullied can experience negative physical, school, and mental health issues. Kids who are bullied are more likely to experience:

When kids see bullying, they may not know what to do. They may feel depressed or worried. They may be absent from school because they dont feel safe. They may join in or stay silent so they wont get bullied themselves. They may stand up to the bully. But the best thing to do is get an adult who will stop the bullying on the spot.
