Starting HandyShare Browsing the files on the device

Starting HandyShare and files browsing

Connect the device.

Click.

HandyShare starts.

The files in the folder are displayed.

To manually start HandyShare, double-click the HandyShare shortcut icon on your desktop. For Mac users, please start it from the Applications folder.

Depending on the Handy Video Recorder that you are using, long video recordings might automatically be split into multiple files. These files will be displayed individually in HandyShare.

Click the video to switch playback to full screen. Click a part other than the reproduced picture or click when you want to return to thumbnail video display.

Adjust the start position and end position by dragging the mouse.

This shows the current playback position.


Select the video.

Use these to make precise adjustments to the start and end positions. Set the start position at the time shown. Set the end position at the time shown.

You can trim the video clip.

Saving the trimmed video and audio

You can save only the sound by checking the box, when you select the folder to save a file. If the recording format is AAC, it will be automatically converted to WAV format. To save a still picture of the current playback position, click the button.

Choose the best sound by auditioning the effect when you change the setting. Up to 30 seconds from the beginning of the video will repeated when auditioning. You can save only the sound by checking the box, when you select the folder to save a file. If the recording format is AAC, it will be automatically converted to WAV format.

Uploading videos
Uploading your own videos to YouTubeTM
A YouTube account is necessary to upload to that site. In order to upload videos from HandyShare, you also must log in to the computer as a user with administrator privileges. Uploading video from HandyShare might not be possible in some cases depending on the Internet connection and settings, the computer, the use of antivirus software and other conditions. If this occurs, you can still upload video to YouTube using the features of that site.

Right-click the folder, and then choose [New].

You can see information about a folder by selecting [Properties]. You can also use the to perform editing operations.
