INTRODUCTION:

Currently, people dont have time to prepare their own meals due to the call of their business, and today, food business also enhance according to the availability of the populace like: fast-food chains, street foods, instant foods and etc. that gives you tasty meal without taking much time. Nowadays, people are seeking an inexpensive breakfast and lunch meal that gives their tummy satisfactions and not eating too big in their time. Not only employees or workers are experiencing this kind of dilemma, but also students, who often loaded by their school works. Students especially T.U.P.ians, are too busy to school to eat a proper breakfast and meal because of the time pressure that the school load requires like examinations, assignments, paper works, projects and presentations. Oftentimes, students chose not to take breakfast because they dont want to be late and often they skip their lunches to prepare for their next subjects. These factors make the prepared foods business more appealing to the consumer than the other food business. Although the demand for the street foods are getting higher each year due to its low price and availability, most prepared food sold in the community are more prone to health risks and frequently, they are not fulfilling to the consumers. All set food requires extra care and sanitation with the way its being prepared. The menu of food sold in street food kiosks consists mostly of snacks and appetizers, which cant be much of that fulfilling and cant energize customers for the whole day. Arranged food will allow people to buy variety of fulfilling food, may it be for breakfast, appetizer or even snacks. In accordance to this matter, the proponents of T.U.P.YUM decided to put up a business that can satisfy the needs of the consumers and assure them of the safety and quality products.

Taking our sight around us, we can see different foods in every street like tusoktusok, queck queck, kikiam etc. and now, street foods vendors offer different delicacies from the places of the Philippines. Piyaya, a famous delicacy of Illonggos from Bacolod. Piyaya is bread without yeast or baking soda, it also has filling (most likely muscovado sugar or dark brown sugar) that adds the taste of the pastry. Piyaya was cooked by frying the dough without oil. This unique recipe became famous because of the crispiness of it and the sweet taste that sometimes comes with different flavors like; chocolate, pandan, ube, vanilla, strawberry, vanilla etc.. Piyaya also loved by everyone since the procedure is very easy to follow and the raw materials are very cheap. This delicacy from Bacolod is one of the examples of foods that offered in the streets of Manila. The proponents chose to put up a prepared food business that offers historical delicacy but by the touch of modernity, making different flavors with colorful presentation; by doing this rare combination, this will upgrade the appeal of the Piyaya to the consumers. Today, we need to follow the trend of the generation where colorful and very cute presentation is a must.
