The EEN Network


Enterprise Europe Network is a unique network made up of some 600 business support organizations in more than 50 countries throughout the European Union (EU) and beyond. It is dedicated to helping small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to make the most of the business opportunities in the EU. Launched on 7th February 2008 by the European Commission. Is the largest network in Europe providing expertise and services for businesses. The Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI) created in 2007, helps the European Commission to manage both the Network's operations and a number of other EU programmes.

Mission
Helping small companies make the most of the business opportunities in the European Union" With more than 20,7 million SMEs in the EU, they represent 99% of European businesses. SMEs are the backbone of the European economy and a key driver for economic growth, innovation, employment and social integration. SMEs will be supported across Horizon 2020 pillars or priorities. Their participation in the programme will be particularly encouraged through a new dedicated SME instrument.

EEN Mxico
A number of Third Countries participate in the EEN Network on a selffinancing basis like: Russia, India, China, USA, Chile or Mexico. These Third Countries are called Business Cooperation Centres" Mexico joined the Network in 2011 Partners:
