The Reser"e *an( of $ndia& $ndiaFs central ban(in authorit#& was established in April 0D7:& but was nationali+ed on 0 Januar# 0D9D under the terms of the Reser"e *an( of $ndia %Transfer to Public Ownership) Act& 0D9C %R*$& 3BB:b)-
