Working with R.O.L.E Foundation, CCAI has been active in Womens Education in the poorest communities of Indonesia. Our focus is to provide basic education that enable women to be placed back into the market in order to support their families. As a sustainable initiative to demonstrate the use of recycled material, CCAI provides its employees with Eco Uniform made from 50% organic cotton. Since 2008, we have initiated a clean up program for 5 beaches in Bali Kuta, Legian, Jimb aran, Kedonganan, and Seminyak, as we were very aware of the negative impact that polluted and dirty beaches was having on tourism in Bali.
Today, partnering with Quiksilver and Garuda Indonesia, we have engaged 74 employees, removed 16,000 tonnes rubbish, collected 75,000 turtle eggs, and released most of the hatchlings back into the ocean.
