Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Pebriansyah. I am a medical student at Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala
University, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. I am currently in my fourth year now. I started my
clinical practice since September 2013 and will be graduating on April 2015. I am
glad that CIMSA-Indonesia and BVMD-Germany have given me opportunity to do
clinical practice in Germany. I would like to do this programme in your hospital.

I applied for Surgery General Department from the period of October 13rd 2014 to
November 9th 2014. I have so much passion in Surgery because I wanted to be a
Surgeon from the very first time studied Medicine. I like surgery because its so
interesting with all the medical equipment a Surgeon use during a surgery. On the
other hand, I also wanted to know all the things that I didnt know about Surgery. I
am sure that Germany is a right choice to learn about surgery since Germany is
known as one of the country which is advance in technologies, also in medical
technologies.

I am sure there are a lot of different case I will found in Germany, because its so
different from Indonesia, based on the social life, environment, food, and life style of
the people. I am in early phase of my study now, so I would learn everything I
encounter in the hospital. I hope I will see many case with many disease and clinical
symptomps, so I will learn as much as possible.

Although I have no experience doing clinical practice outside Indonesia, I am sure its
not a big problem for me. I am good in English, I often manage many incoming
students from another country especially Europe without any difficulties. Also, I
studied Deutsch for 3 years in senior high school, so it will help me during clinical
practice. Moreover, I am a motivated and socialble person. I like to learn any kind of
new skills, meeting new people, learn about culture and social life which is so
different from Indonesia.

I deeply hope that I could take part in the exchange programme at your university. I
want it more than anything. It such an honour for me to studied at your hospital.
