Criterion 1: Institutional Mission and Schoolwide Learner Outcomes

BAS places high value on adult education Bass school vision and mission statement are valid and relevant

Continue and expand opportunities for staff development and collaborative time regarding integration of CCSS into instruction

Criterion 2: Organizational Infrastructure and School Leadership


Areas to Celebrate
Firm commitment of the BUSD to maintain the BAS program School leadership and staff exhibit a strong sense of shared accountability for student learning School administration works closely with staff in monitoring and guiding the schoolwide action plan

BAS should reevaluate the role of the Community Advisory Committee to include members with specific expertise in development of CTE programs

BUSD has adopted and consistently utilizes high professional standards and policies in recruiting, hiring, and evaluating staff members

Evaluate new technology options in all program areas Train staff on new technology tools Increase teacher collaboration by creating opportunities for meaning conversations about effective teaching strategies Ensure all ASE courses are aligned with CCSSs
