1.Students have learnt and understood the concept of pressure (definition, formula and application.) 2. Students have learnt factors affecting pressure in liquids and derivation of formula pressure in liquids.
At the end of the teaching and learning process, students should be able to :
Explain pressure in liquids and state . Describe application of pressure in liquids. Solve problems involving pressure in liquid.
1. Thinking rationally 2. Realising that science is a means to understand nature 3. Being Collaboration 1. Electronic Method ( LCD & computer ) 2. Printed Material ( Handout ) 3. Practical Text Book

1.Teacher recall the previous lesson before proceed with the experiment. 2.Teacher ask students to transfer their knowledge in form of mind map and submit right away to the teacher. 3.2 experiments will be conducted simultaneously. Aim of the experiments: 1. To find the relationship between the pressure in a liquid according to its depth. (Experiment A) 2. To find the relationship between the pressure in a liquid and its density. (Experiment B) 1. Teacher will explain the procedure in text book and do mock demostration so that students have the rough idea on what they wanted to do. 2. Procedure: Experiment A

Experiment B
Procedure: 1. Apparatus is set up as shown in the diagram. 2. The measuring cylinder is completely filled with water. 3. The thistle funnel is lowered into the water to a depth of 50.0 cm. The manometer reading is measured. The difference in the liquid heights in the manometer represent the pressure reading. 4. The experiment is repeated by replacing the water with glycerin (density = 1300 kg m-3) and alcohol (density = 800 kg m-3).
1. Teacher ask the students to form 5 team consist of 4 people. 2. Then, they also have to split into 2 group inj each team so that students can do the experiments simultaneously. 3. When Group A do 3
