This is all just a suggested routine for anyone looking to expand their fretboard knowledge. Depending on your experience, you may want to add or subtract review days. There are still many more ways to play Amaj7 on the guitar, but this is a great start. Some Ideas for What to do Next: Write songs, licks, and improvise with the A Maj7 arpeggio. Use these shapes to play the other Maj7 arpeggios such as G Maj7, F Maj7, etc. Use this method for any other arpeggio, such as Min7, Dom7, and Min7b5
