Sub: Procedures to avoid delay in issue of LoFSP reg. -------------------------------------------------------------------Attention of the Exporters, CHA & Trade seeking One Time/ One Day Factory Stuffing Permissions is invited to the Public Notice No.23/2010 dated 26.02.2010 wherein at para 4 of the Public Notice it is mentioned that the LoFSP will be granted only on receipt of prior verification report regarding the genuineness of the existence and functioning of the units and the No Objection Certificate from the jurisdictional Central Excise Authorities regarding deputing of officers for supervising the export stuffing. In this regard delays are noticed in issue of the permissions due to the verification reports not containing the desired information about the existence of the Exporters and also willingness required to be given by the jurisdictional Asstt./Dy. Commissioner of Customs/Central Excise to depute staff for supervising the stuffing of export goods in the containers. 2. In order to curtail such delays the formats of the required type of verification reports and willingness of the concerned Asstt./Dy. Commissioner to depute staff are enclosed at Annexures A, B & C, for different categories of exporters i.e. Merchant Exporters, Manufacturer Exporters & Supporting Manufacturer of Merchant Exporters. 3. The Exporters, Trade & concerned Asstt./Dy. Commissioners of Customs/ Central Excise are requested to take note and ensure that the verification reports are provided as per the enclosed annexures. 4. Any difficulty faced in this regard may be brought to the notice of the undersigned.

Please refer to Public Notice No. 23/2010 dated 26.02.2010 wherein the Commissioner of Customs (Export), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, has directed all the exporters who seek LoFSP to submit the verification report of the genuineness of the existence and functioning of the premises along with the NOC from the jurisdictional Central Excise Authorities. The Officers of this Division visited the premises of M/s. _________ situated at ________________ and found that the premise mentioned above is genuine and in existence at the above declared address. The necessary infrastructure/facilities are available at the premises for stuffing of export container as requested by the exporter. This Office has no objection for deputing Officers from the Range Office on payment of MOT for supervising the stuffing of export goods in containers as and when request is received from the exporter. Further, as per the available records, it is informed that no serious duty evasion case like clandestine removal of goods etc. has been noticed against the assessee. Date :
