Famous Sociopaths
Ted Bundy: He killed, strangled, and kidnapped innocent women at random. The he killed them and engaged in sexual activity with their corpse and felt no remorse. Robert John Maudsley: He killed because he felt it was his duty. His sociopathic tendencies stem from him being beaten as a child by both of his parents. Countess Erzsebet Bathory de Ecsed: She killed at least 80 Young women and felt like no one would miss these girl.

Sociopaths vs. Psychopaths

Psychopathy and sociopaths are both anti-social personality disorders. While both these disorders are the result of an interaction between genetic predispositions and environmental factors, psychopathy leans towards the hereditary whereas sociopaths tends towards the environmental. Psychopaths are born with temperamental differences such as impulsivity, cortical under arousal, and fearlessness that lead them to risk-seeking behavior and an inability to internalize social norms. On the other hand, sociopaths have relatively normal temperaments; their personality disorder being more an effect of negative sociological factors like parental neglect, delinquent peers, poverty, and extremely low or extremely high intelligence. Anti-social personality disorder results in extremely violent acts. Though psychiatrists often consider and treat sociopaths and psychopaths as the same, criminologists treat them as different because of the difference in their outward behaviour.

How to recognize a sociopath

Superficial charm and good intelligence Absence of delusions and other signs of irrational thinking Absence of nervousness or neurotic manifestations Unreliability Untruthfulness and insincerity Lack of remorse and shame Inadequately motivated antisocial behavior Poor judgment and failure to learn by experience Pathologic egocentricity and incapacity for love General poverty in major affective reactions Specific loss of insight Unresponsiveness in general interpersonal relations Fantastic and uninviting behavior with alcohol and sometimes without Suicide threats rarely carried out Sex life impersonal, trivial, and poorly integrated Failure to follow any life plan

Sociopaths
Sociopaths can not be true friends to people. They dont know how to act in a normal environment. They truly do not care about people , but can convince them into thinking do.

How they affect those around them

They tend to be aggressive and agitated more than other children. They may even know what they did was wrong but show no remorse for their actions . They have charm like most children but use it in ways that are not correct in sociaty.
