BUILDING
A Fund to Plant New Churches
Early in 1974, a fund was begun by the Ceres Church to build a new building for worship and meeting center. Appeals were made to the brethren to supply half of the expected cost of $10,000, or a goal
of $5,000. After indecision and some delay, the decision to build was made and work began May i5,1974. Later that
year, the building (15 meters long, 10 meters wide, with walls 5 meters high) was constructed on property being given
as a gift from the city government. Cost
was $11,106.00. Funds to finance the construction from local efforts were insufficient to do

Vision and Challenge Brasilia Building has been our vision and challenge for twenty years - yes! Nearly thirty years!

On April 11, 1976, a new congregation was formed with seven new baptized believers and four
transfers in the rural area of
"Despenhada" of the Alvorada Town ship, north of Brasilia. The story connected with this congregation
streams back almost to the time of the Sanders' arrival in Brazil. FIRST CONTACTS

first in the Sanders' home and later in the Goiania Christian Institute.
