A circle with radius r is drawn. Write coordinates of points where it meets the axes. Also write the equation of AC and BD. Find its radius also.

12. Cost of a pencil is 3 times the cost of an eraser. Represent this in the form of a linear equation in two variables. Also find four solutions of the above equation. 13. D, E, F are respectively the mid points of side BC, CA & AB of ABC . Show that i) BDEF is a parallelogram.

14. Three girls Reshma, Salma and Mandip are playing a game by standing on a circle of radius 5m drawn in a park. Reshma throws a ball to Salma, Salma to Mandip, Mandip to Reshma. If the distance between Reshma and Salma and between Salma and Mandip is 6 m each, what is the distance between Reshma and Mandip ? 15. Draw a line segment QR = 5 cm. Construct perpendiculars at points Q and R respectively. Name them as QX and RY. Are they both parallel? 16. Draw a line segment AB = 5.6 cm. At point A construct an angle of 1200. Now construct supplement at the point A. 17. P, Q, and R are mid points of XO, YO and ZO respectively as shown in figure. If PQ = 4 cm, QR = 6 cm and PR = 8 cm, then find the length of the sides of XYZ.

18. The height of a cone is 15 cm. If its volume is 1570 cm3 , find the radius of the base? 19. A survey of the number of people of various age-groups visiting the Diwali mela on a particular day is given below. Draw a frequency polygon with histogram to represent the data.

SECTION-D Question numbers 21 to 31 carry four marks each 21. Two times of a larger number is equal to three times of the smaller number. Write the linear equation which satisfies this data. Draw the graph for the same. Does this line pass through origin? 22. The taxi fare in a city is as follows: For the first kilometer, the fare is Rs. 8 and for the subsequent distance it is Rs 5 per km. Taking the distance covered as x km and total fare as Rs y, write a linear equation for this information, and draw its graph.

The ratio of the total surface area to the curved surface area of a right circular cylinder is 3 : 2. Find the volume if its total surface area is 14784 cm2. 30.
