Now check the Fax Status icon in the Outlook main window. If the settings are correct, the Fax Status Window should connect the RightFax server and display the status.
Sending a Fax from Outlook Click on Send a Fax and in the Fax Addressing for SMTP, input the Name and Fax Number. Company is optional. Then click on To: button and the plugin will create the format address and put that into Outlook To field. You can also attach any files and RightFax will convert them and add them after the Cover Page.

Hey Graham, great article. Two questions I have: 1. Article says 2012 R2, but first step says install 2012. Is that mistake or typo? Which one

2. If 2012 R2 is the case, officially OpenText is not supporting it. But would it work well? We 2012 R2, but if some issue happens they won't support me and I will be in trouble. But I rea use old 2012. Any solution here? Thanks!

Hi Alex
As of today, the latest version of Windows Server supported is 2012. OpenText. In the first feature pack for 10.6, it is planned to include support for 2012 next few months. So, officially you would have to use 2012 Server if you are upgrad for a little while longer, then you could have support for R2 with FP1. Cheers Graham
