Real-Time Gesture Controlled Robots December 2011- June 2012 Developed a real-time gesture recognition system for Kinect using DTW algorithm. Achieved 94% accuracy with improved learning mechanism and novel local constraints for matching. [Paper is under review] Finger-Knuckle Matching August-November 2011 Implemented various approaches including LBP, LDP and PCA along with XOR, SVM and Chi-square matching techniques for finger knuckle pattern recognition achieving a recognition rate of 97.67%. [Refer publication 1] Automatic Vacuum Cleaner with Home Security January-June 2011 Developed an algorithm for mapping and traversal of a room to clean it automatically. Designed and implemented a security feature which alerts via a phone call in case of any intruders. Gait Pattern Analysis AugustDecember 2010 Developed the control system of a Hexapod (12 DOF) robot to imitate walking of a spider using a core I3 processor.
