Wibe in Mora, Sweden

There is always a next time.

Usually it’s a matter of a few extras, sometimes more radical changes. New and
old have to fit together regardless. Hand in glove – even in 15 years’ time.

We delivered our first – and the world’s first – cable ladder just over 75 years
ago. And we can still supply additions to it if necessary. We carry over 10,000
items in our range. Just over a hundred are ladders and trays. The remainder
consists of components to meet every possible requirement. And some pretty
impossible ones too.

So don’t just think about this time, think about the next time.

We are the biggest supplier on the market. More concretely, we provide cable
ladders and cable trays, lighting trunking and installation rails, steel wire sys-
tems, integrated ceilings – and Defem® mesh trays. We hot dip galvanize in one
of the most modern plants in Scandinavia and do powder coating in one that is
just as technologically advanced.

Wibe is the market leader in telescopic masts and masts for lighting and com-
munication. We have experience from thousands of projects, from planning, to
fitting and erection, to commissioning and service.

Wibe is part of the worldwide Schneider Electric group, which also includes leading brands such as Eljo, Lexel, Merlin Gerin, Telemecanique and Thorsman.

As regards environmental corrosion, a steel design component can usually be assigned to one of the corrosion classes (C1-C5-M)
as shown in table 1:23a. Reference values for the average level of corrosion in steel and zinc are given in table 1:23c.
The corrosion classes comply with those stipulated in SS-EN ISO 12944-2.

Use and installation

Earth clamps W79 are intended for use when the earthing of
mounting plates for the installation of machines complying with
regulations for use of high tension current is required.
The junction box plate’s (mounting plate’s) oval holes facilitate the
moving of the Earth clamp W79 so that it is always located under the
machine casing.
If the machine’s earth clamp is not approved for splicing of earth
cable, this must pass in unbroken state through the machine’s earth
clamp to the earth clamp in the junction box plate.
Wibe Junction box plate W24 and Earth clamp W79 are approved by
the National Electrical Inspectorate 850513 in accordance with
annotation S24-138/85.

Concrete screw MMS-S
For installation with cantilever arms and vertical pieces.
Concrete screw with hexagonal head and special thread constructed for safe fixing in concrete or brickwork.
Suitable for fixing of tubes, electrical installations, rails, handrails, machines, ventilating ducts, wood constructions.
❑ Easy to install
❑ High extraction values are obtained due to the special thread. The drill diameter is the same as the root diameter of the screw
which gives a solid fixing inside the hole.
❑ Can be dismounted and reinstalled without reduced extraction force.
❑ A weaker drill can be used compared to using anchor, expansion bolt, screw and plug.
❑ Suitable in environments which are fire classified.

Concrete screw MMS-I

Electro-galvanized WEF-0001
For installation of Pendant M8 or M10.
❑ High extraction values are obtained due to the special thread.
The drill diameter is the same as the root diameter of the screw which gives a solid fixing inside the hole.
❑ Can be dismounted and reinstalled without diminished extraction force.
❑ A weaker drill and less drilling depth can be used compared to using anchor, expansion bolt, screw and plug.
❑ Suitable in environments which are fire classified.

Concrete screws - Loadings
Mounting of Wibe concrete screws
To use Wibe concrete screws is both safe and easy. No special tools or machines are required.
The screw performs an exact adapted thread in the bedding which means that no control of the tightening moment is required.

The extraction force of a Wibe concrete screw is better than that of an expansion bolt with the same diameter
You can choose a smaller diameter of a concrete screw than that of an expansion bolt and still receive the same extraction force.
The same concrete screw can be re-used.
Mounting instruction

Use a drill suitable to the screw. Switch off the hammer function. Mount with drilling machine.
Drill the hole. Mount the Bitro adapter on the Wibe concrete screws can also
drill. Pull in a bit or socket suit- be mounted with regular hand
able for the screw to be used. tools as box sockets.

1. Drill a hole with the same diameter as the root of the screw
(for 6 mm drill 5 mm, for 7.5 mm drill 6 mm, for 10 mm drill 8 mm and for 12 mm drill 10 mm).
The drill depth must be at least 20 mm deeper than the installation depth.

2. Blow the hole free from dust.

3. Mount the concrete screw close to the application bedding, no defined tightening moment is required.
Note – don´t tighten the screw with a higher moment than stated on the package or technical data.
