SYNOPSIS (a) Title of the Summer training project study :-

Consumer's behavior towards TVS motors, with a special reference to TVS Scooty. (b) Introduction :-

Commuting in town is an indispensable part of urban life style. It becomes inconvenient at times of the individual does not have his or her private vehicle. The public transport connects to the major landmarks in the town. It is therefore imperative that the two wheelers are much more sought after by most of the comuters particularly the ladies. Scooty has caught the fancy of Patnaties in a very significant manner. There has been an availability of all sorts of different brands in Patna these days. The study is about analyzing the trained regarding the different facetes of consumer behavior particularly scooty which are offered by TVS. (c) Objective of the Study :-

Objective refers to the information which are intend to developed research study in order to facilitate the decision making for the effective marketing of the product and services. The major objectives of the study are enumerated as follows:(1) To find out the criteria for the preference of Scooty in Patna. (2) To figure out the satisfaction level of the users of different brands of Scooty in Patna. (3) To evaluate whether easy availability of the product plays the decisive role for the purchase of the product. (4) To Assess the role of opinion leader regarding the purchase of Scooty in Patna. (d) Importance of the Study :-

The study is not only pertinent as it is one of the basic requirement of the course curriculum but also it provides an opportunity to have a direct interaction with the organization and appreciate the theoretical knowledge that has been gained in the classrooms in its applied form. Moreover the study would help in

developing a better comprehansation regarding the Scooty market in Patna and getting to know the underlying driving forces that prapel the customer regarding the purchase of the particular brand. (e) from internet a birds view of the organization:

Hypothesis :-

Hypothesis refers to the set of assumptions which are to be pused to taste in order to enquired their validity for the purpose of arriving of facts. These hypothesis are to be tested by different statistical techniques in order to arrive at the valid conclusions. The hypothesis of the study are stated down as below: (1) ho - Brand image is the major criteria for the preference of Scooty in Patna. H1 Brand image is the major criteria for not preference of Scooty in Patna. (2) H0 - Customer satisfaction level with TVS Scooty in Patna is very high H1 - Customer satisfaction level with TVS Scooty in Patna is not very high. (3) Ho - After sale service of Scooty is considered at the time of its purchase H1 - After sale service of Scooty is not considered at the time of its purchase (4) H0 - Sales promotion could auditor the brand preference for Scooty in Patna H1 - Sales promotion could not auditor the brand preference for Scooty in Patna. (g) Proposed Chapters :The following chapters are proposed for the purpose of conducting the research study :-

(1) Introduction to the study :- It would cover the rationale, objectives, hypothesis, importance and scope of the study. (2) Organisation Profile :- It would cover a brief write upon TVS India with respect to its history and development vision, mission, strategies, product position, organizational chart and performance over the years. (3) Theoritical Prospectives :It would cover the care theme of the study and analysis of the basic concepts and principles which would help to appreciate the research study in for more effective a manner. (4) Methodology :- It would cover in detail exactly how the research study was conducted by driving upon the type of research sources of data, method of data collection, sampling designing stratistical techniques employed for the analysis of the data etc. (5) Data Analysis and Interpetation :- It would cover the statistical analysis of the data as proposed in the methodology uncovering the underlying factors. (6) Findings of the Study :- It would include the enumeration of the major findings of the study. (7) Recommendation :A least of qualified suggestions would be made to the company on the basis of the study which would strengthen their position with the reference of the product under question in the market of Patna. (8) Conclusion :It would sum up the entire study in a nut shell along with the concluding rewards.
