Political factors Politically the government influence on the fan industry is not up to the mark.

There are certain standards set by the government for the Pak fans. Despite the presence of those standards the company have won many awards for its quality and technical expertise. Pak Fan achieved ISO9002 certified, highest international quality award. The Fan Development Institute was formed to provide the better knowledge and information on the latest trends to the fan producers but due to the lack of political concerns that institute is just giving raw recommendations and help to this whole sector Pak fans have to comply with certain minimum electric safety and performance requirement that are set by the government. They have to comply with PSQCA PS1 electric safety and performance standard. Similarly to export their products they have to comply with the standards of those countries and politically the influence to export the fans is ignored. Economic Conditions: Pakistan is facing Economic challenges. It shows that our country is in the list of under developed countries. In this article we will discuss about the Economic Condition of Pakistan. In the last budget, the government gained 4.3 per cent economic growth but with gas and load shedding problems they didnt achieve the targets. So due to lake of experience and knowledge they came in the figure of 2.2 per cent growth which shows almost no growth in the current year. The major problem in Pakistan is increase in population which is directly effecting our economic growth. Of course, due to higher rate of population, we should increase our investments but due to less financial reserves this investment is not possible. This low economic growth rate has led to low foreign investment in the fan industry and the government has also not been able to support the industry since the reserves are low. Another challenge is inflation. Inflation means increase in the prices of commodity. It badly affects the salary based groups. This also shows our higher rate of taxes because tax is part of the inflation. When inflation rate high in our country then it generates the public debts, which is about 70 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. This problem is increasing day by day. Inflation also affects the prices of the commodities and since the prices are going up the purchasing power

of the consumer is going down. This decrease in spendable income is affecting a lot of industries including the fan industry. The major problem is immediate change in the situation of regional and international market. Utilities such as gas, electricity, water is another cause of a problems because IMF forced the under develop countries to enhance their rates which is effecting the common man or salary based groups. They dont save much in fact they just fulfill their basic needs. These gas and electricity outages are adversely affecting the fan industry. Many factories had to be closed down and the level of production has dropped significantly. Social factors The company needs a lot of emphasis to attract the community in retaining the best image of the whole company. Pak fans have contributed a lot in maintaining the social image. It has managed all the social elements which are necessary to have a better impact on the organization A Hospital is setup by Pak fans and it is situated on G.T. Road Gujarat, this hospital provides free healthcare services to employees as well as general public. The company has the policy which is equal employment opportunity and this thing shows that the organization is not like the traditional ones in which there is some discrimination of gender. Pak fans encourage women to work and contribute not only in national economy but also in upgrading their lifestyles and family betterments. They have females working not only in their offices but also in the main factory operations Technological factors To cope up with the technology is the major concern of the competing organizations. Pak fan is among those who come up with the modern technology. There are very few players in this industry who are using the modern technologies. The modern trends are to make the fans which are made up of fiber. The quality of fiber is more durable and it helps to lower the cost. A Pak fan doesnt not have that technology yet but they are giving many concerns to this. And in order to increase their export they needs to have better technology so that they can be cost efficient.

Environmental Factors:
Although the fan making industry is not considered a "dirty" industry compared too many others, it faces new challenges in controlling and preventing environmental pollution as it expands. The Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency reports that by 1995 fan based facilities in the Pakistan alone were annually releasing more than 50 million pounds of air, water, and soil pollutants composed of 104 different chemicals. As the fan industry grows and consolidates globally, the expanding size and output requires them to deal with environmental problems more effectively. The environmental performance reports of leading international fan companies indicate that they publicly recognize their corporate responsibilities for environmental stewardship. The largest fan manufacturing firms are moving quickly to integrate proactive management policies into their overall business strategies. Leading firms are introducing pollution prevention and clean manufacturing practices into their operations through product and process life-cycle analysis in order to reduce waste and minimize negative environmental impacts.

Legal Factors: Competition Law:

The competition law prohibits actions that tend to lessen competition such as abuse of market dominance, agreements that restrict dominance, and deceptive marketing practices. The law sets out procedures relating to review of mergers and acquisitions, enquiries, imposition of penalties, grant of leniency, and other essential aspects of law enforcement. The Competition Act, 2010 extends to the whole of Pakistan, and applies to all undertakings and all actions or matters that take place in or outside Pakistan and prevent, restrict, reduce or distort competition within Pakistan. The Act prohibits: 1. Abuse of dominant position; 2. Anti-competitive agreements; 3. Deceptive marketing practices; 4. Mergers and acquisitions that substantially lessen competition. The fan industry is bound to carry out its practices in light of this law. Legal proceedings can be undertaken to ensure that the companies stay in line with the law. Employment Laws:
