The Pro and Con of Giving Children Homework

There are a lot of discussion as to whether children should be given homework or not. Is it enough for children having time to study at school or needing additional time in home for study after school time? Some people claim that children do enough work in school already. They also argue that children have their hobbies which they want to do after school, such as sport or music. A further point they make is that a lot of homeworks are pointless and does not help the children learn at all. However, there are also strong arguments against this point of view. Parents and teachers argue that it is important to find out whether children can work on their own without the support from the teacher. They say that the evening is a good time for children to sit down and think about what they have learned in school. Furthermore they claim that the school day is too short to get anything done. It makes sense to send home tasks like independent reading or further writing task which do not need the teacher support. I think, on balance, that some homework is good idea but that should only given at the weekend when children have more time.

The Issues About Global Warming Causes Global warming is a complicated case. The issues about global warming are always being debated by some scientists. They argue about the causes and the effects of global warming. Some arguments said that human is the main cause of this case, but the other arguments said that global warming is a climatic variation. One side of the issue concern about human activities. Human created the emissions from their daily activities and it accelerated the natural climatic cycle. Human always use everything that need burning process, such as motorcycle, car, plane, industries, etc. Those are including the main daily needs for human, and the usage frequency is increasing. Those facilities release carbon dioxide every time they use. Unfortunately, carbon dioxide is destroying the plants on the earth. If the plants die, there are no place to store the carbon dioxide. So, carbon dioxide is released to the atmosphere.[1] Another side of the issue said that global warming is normally happen because of climatic variation. This earth has a mechanism named Global Conveyor Belt. It uses to transfer heat energy from one place to another place through air and water. Global Conveyor Belt will control the total of heat energy naturally. The climatic circulation regulated based on the cycle.[3]According to some scientists, global warming will always change just like a climate circulation, and it happens naturally.[2] From the arguments and the issues about this case, we cant decide one argument subjectively. All of people in this world must know and understand deeply. A wide kn owledge is very important to lead the way of our thinking. From our knowledge, we must do something helpful for our earth.

Hacking: Pro and Contra? Do you know what a hacker is? Well, a hacker is a person who enjoys exploring the details of programmable systems on computers and they like to stretch the capability of the systems. And you know what, the activities they do in the computers are called hacking. So, whats the problem with hacking and its hackers? Well, the problem is whether hacking and its hackers is legal or illegal? What I mean is that people in the world have many different views about hacking and the hackers. Some of them take sides, but many object. To get back to what I was saying previously, let us see the positive points of a hacker, shall we? Although in most places breaking into computer systems is considered illegal, I believe that hackers dont do anything illegal because they only want to know and t ry the systems. I dare to say that a hacker likes finding the strengths and the weaknesses of a computer system. They feel proud if they can find the weaknesses. So I dont really see the crimes in this case. In addition, these hackers sometimes help the police catch the wh ite collar criminals, such as bank robbers, money launderers, credit card forgers. For example, in 2000, the U.S. hackers caught some Singaporean hackers who made Virus Love to break up the programs of the U.S. National Security system. Nevertheless, those who object to the good points of a hacker say that hacking is a crime. The reason is that some hackers use their brilliant skills to break into banks and other vital institutions where they can get money, destroy information, and the worst thing is they can get secret information and sell it to another country. This is a treachery. Take for example, in 1994, The U.S. government broke a conspiracy of computer hackers out of Majorca, Spain. These hackers were responsible for accessing and eliminating 190,000 telephone credit card numbers over computer bulletin boards in America and Europe. Seeing this fact, I dont blame those who think negatively about hackers. To put the whole thing in a nut shell, I personally think that hackers are not bad people with their brilliant skills. However, they could be bad because of money orientation to get the wealth. Thats just the point.
