VENTURE LEAD: INVESTED PARTNERSHIPS

1 POSITION

The Invested Partnerships (IP) Lead will be in charge of sponsorships and fundraising. A primary responsibility will be to engage and manage a team of general members. The team goals are to raise money for the chapters operational needs and the junior fellowship program. The IP Lead must build relationships with potential donors. It is expected that this individual will be involved in large fundraising events such as the Wine and Cheese and the Run to End Poverty, especially with budgeting decisions. Commitment: 6 8 hours per week VICE-PRESIDENT: FINANCE 1 POSITION

The Vice-President Finance will create and supervise chapter budgeting decisions, record transactions and submit monthly financial reports to EWBs National Office. VP Finance must also keep the Executive Team updated on the chapters finances. This individual is one of the signatories to the chapters back accounts. Commitment: 2 4 hours per week VENTURE LEAD: HOPE TEAM 1 POSITION

The HOPE Team Lead is in charge of keeping in contact with the HOPE Team, an initiative for engaging high-school students. This individual must provide leadership and insight for the HOPE Team Ambassadors as their main contact. It is important to teach the students about international development while gaining valuable leadership and personal development experience. The HOPE Team Lead will work closely with the Youth Venture Lead. This role requires an interest in working with youth and the willpower to empower and engage them. Individuals applying for this position must live in Windsor-Essex County. Commitment: 6 8 hours per week VENTURE LEAD: GLOBAL ENGINEERING 1 POSITION

The Global Engineering (GE) Lead must be a student enrolled in Engineering, and be interested in working with both engineering students and professors in order to enhance the engineering curriculum. Enhancements to the curriculum must create more socially minded engineers. This role requires a high degree of thought regarding the role of engineers in society and the effectiveness of the engineering education system. The GE Lead will work with a team of general members. Commitment: 5 7 hours per week VICE-PRESIDENT: CAMPUS OUTREACH 1 POSITION

The Vice-President Campus Outreach is mainly involved with raising awareness of Engineers Without Borders on campus. Making more students aware of EWB, getting more students to attend our events and improving relationships with other clubs are some of the main goals. VP Campus Outreach is in charge of planning for clubs week events and working with other executives with their events. This individual must be outgoing, a good communicator as well as easy to approach. Commitment: 3 5 hours per week VICE-PRESIDENT: COMMUNICATIONS 1 POSITION

The Vice-President Communications oversees a large portion of the online communication. This includes investing time in social media outlets, assisting with chapter newsletters and helping to maintain a mailing list. This individual will be in charge of sending out emails to faculty secretaries whenever needed. This individual will work closely with the Co-Presidents, as well as other Executives, to improve the quality of both internal and external communication. Commitment: 3 5 hours per week GENERAL EXECUTIVE 2 POSITIONS

General executives play an important role in supporting the Executive Team with their events and activities, as well as taking on some of the other work that falls on the Executive Team. These roles are for individuals who want a wide variety of projects to work on and are interested in shorter term goals. These individuals must work well in teams. Commitment: 4 6 hours per week
