CAUSE NO. 201300217

NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) has filed an
Application with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission for an adjustment in its rates and charges for
electric services in the State of Oklahoma. PSO is requesting an increase in rates of approximately $45
million of which advanced metering infrastructure is $7 million leading to installation of approximately
522,000 smart meters over a three year period. For an average Limited Use Residential Service customer,
approval of PSOs proposal would result in a total bill increase of approximately 9.45 percent, or around
$7.29 per month. For a Residential Service customer using 1,000 kWh/month, approval of PSOs
proposal would result in a total bill increase of approximately 4.31 percent, or around $3.97 per month.
Commercial customers will have a total bill increase depending upon the class and usage characteristics
of the customer.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the hearing on the merits will be heard before
Administrative Law Judge commencing on the 25th day of June, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., and continuing each
day thereafter until complete, in Courtroom 301, Third Floor of the Jim Thorpe Office Building, 2101
North Lincoln Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73105.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that all interested persons may appear and be heard and that the
Commission shall, after hearing and taking of evidence, issue such orders and grant such relief as it
deems reasonable, fair, necessary, proper and equitable in the circumstances, whether or not specifically
requested.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that public comment will be received during the proceedings.
