Pengenalan: This project introduces a microwave system which has the time-counting for the cooking process. The system also has an emergency system that will stop the microwave cooking process when the door of the microwave is opened during the process. This will activate the emergency switch while the LED will blink continuously as a warning of the emergency stop. This is to ensure the safety especially of the kids.

The time counter will operate after the user has pressed the time. One minute counted is the same as the time in reality by controlling and counting the delay time in the system. During the operation, the LED which is connected to PORT B will undergo runnning light. After the 60 seconds have been counted until zero, the minute will decrease by 1.

Besides, there is also passward system installed in the microwave system, where the user is required to enter the password before the microwave can be used. This is also another safety measurements for the kids to prevent them from using it without being supervised by adults since they cannot access to the microwave without the password. Like most of the password system, user can change the password and are given 3 chances to enter the correct password. If the password given is wrong, warning will be given, where the LED will start blinking continuously and non-stop. Situation where the user has forgotten the password is also considered. Therefore, there are 2 passwords prepared for the microwave.

As mentioned above, each user is given 3 chances to enter the 4-digit password to activate the cooking function. However, when the user finds out that the password entered is incorrect after the 1st , 2nd or 3rd digit has been entered, the password can be cleared and the user can reenter the password again. Doing so will prevent the usage of the 3 chances given.

This function also comes to the time insertion process where the user can change the time for the process to allow the user to change the time before the cooking process.
