Conferred with Best Student of The Year award in 2007 Bagged third prize in national level Bharat Ko Jaano quiz competition held at Jodhpur, Rajasthan in 2007. First prize in state level quiz competition on the occasion of World Tourism Day organized by Odisha Tourism Department in September 2006.
