Scientists Comments on the Scientific Miracles in the Holy Quran

Description: The statements of various scientists in regards to the facts found in the Quran which conform to recently discovered scientific truths. The following are some comments of scientists !" on the scientific miracles in the Holy Quran. #ll of these comments have $een ta%en from the videotape entitled This is the Truth. &n this videotape' you can see and hear the scientists while they are giving the following comments. !( Dr. T. ). *. +ersaud is +rofessor of #natomy' +rofessor of +ediatrics and Child Health' and +rofessor of ,$stetrics' -ynecology' and .eproductive Sciences at the /niversity of Manito$a' 0innipeg' Manito$a' Canada. There' he was the Chairman of the Department of #natomy for !1 years. He is well2%nown in his field. He is the author or editor of 33 te4t$oo%s and has pu$lished over !5! scientific papers. &n !66!' he received the most distinguished award presented in the field of anatomy in Canada' the 7.C.8. -rant #ward from the Canadian #ssociation of #natomists. 0hen he was as%ed a$out the scientific miracles in the Quran which he has researched' he stated the following: 9The way it was e4plained to me is that Muhammad was a very ordinary man. He could not read' didnt %now how" to write. &n fact' he was an illiterate. #nd were tal%ing a$out twelve actually a$out fourteen" hundred years ago. :ou have someone illiterate ma%ing profound pronouncements and statements and that are ama;ingly accurate a$out scientific nature. #nd & personally cant see how this could $e a mere chance. There are too many accuracies and' li%e Dr. Moore' & have no difficulty in my mind that this is a divine inspiration or revelation which led him to these statements.< +rofessor +ersaud has included some Quranic verses and sayings of the +rophet Muhammad' may the mercy and $lessings of -od $e upon him' in some of his $oo%s. He has also presented these verses and sayings of the +rophet Muhammad at several conferences. 3( Dr. 7oe =eigh Simpson is the Chairman of the Department of ,$stetrics and -ynecology' +rofessor of ,$stetrics and -ynecology' and

+rofessor of Molecular and Human -enetics at the 8aylor College of Medicine' Houston' Te4as' /S#. >ormerly' he was +rofessor of ,$2-yn and the Chairman of the Department of ,$2-yn at the /niversity of Tennessee' Memphis' Tennessee' /S#. He was also the +resident of the #merican >ertility Society. He has received many awards' including the #ssociation of +rofessors of ,$stetrics and -ynecology +u$lic .ecognition #ward in !663. +rofessor Simpson studied the following two sayings of the +rophet Muhammad: 9&n every one of you' all components of your creation are collected together in your mothers wom$ $y forty days...< 3" 9&f forty2two nights have passed over the em$ryo' -od sends an angel to it' who shapes it and creates its hearing' vision' s%in' flesh' and $ones....< ?" He studied these two sayings of the +rophet Muhammad e4tensively' noting that the first forty days constitute a clearly distinguisha$le stage of em$ryo2genesis. He was particularly impressed $y the a$solute precision and accuracy of those sayings of the +rophet Muhammad. Then' during one conference' he gave the following opinion: 9So that the two hadeeths @the sayings of the +rophet Muhammad( that have $een noted provide us with a specific time ta$le for the main em$ryological development $efore forty days. #gain' the point has $een made' & thin%' repeatedly $y other spea%ers this morning: these hadeeths could not have $een o$tained on the $asis of the scientific %nowledge that was availa$le at" the time of their writing . . . . &t follows' & thin%' that not only there is no conflict $etween genetics and religion $ut' in fact' religion can guide science $y adding revelation to some of the traditional scientific approaches' that there e4ist statements in the Quran shown centuries later to $e valid' which support %nowledge in the Quran having $een derived from -od<. ?( Dr. A. Marshall 7ohnson is +rofessor Ameritus of #natomy and Developmental 8iology at Thomas 7efferson /niversity' +hiladelphia' +ennsylvania' /S#. There' for 33 years he was +rofessor of #natomy' the Chairman of the Department of #natomy' and the Director of the Daniel 8augh &nstitute. He was also the +resident of the Teratology Society. He has authored more than 3BB pu$lications. &n !65!' during

the Seventh Medical Conference in Dammam' Saudi #ra$ia' +rofessor 7ohnson said in the presentation of his research paper: 9Summary: The Quran descri$es not only the development of e4ternal form' $ut emphasi;es also the internal stages' the stages inside the em$ryo' of its creation and development' emphasi;ing maCor events recogni;ed $y contemporary science.< #lso he said: 9#s a scientist' & can only deal with things which & can specifically see. & can understand em$ryology and developmental $iology. & can understand the words that are translated to me from the Quran. #s & gave the e4ample $efore' if & were to transpose myself into that era' %nowing what & %new today and descri$ing things' & could not descri$e the things which were descri$ed. & see no evidence for the fact to refute the concept that this individual' Muhammad' had to $e developing this information from some place. So & see nothing here in conflict with the concept that divine intervention was involved in what he was a$le to write.< D( Dr. 0illiam 0. Hay is a well2%nown marine scientist. He is +rofessor of -eological Sciences at the /niversity of Colorado' 8oulder' Colorado' /S#. He was formerly the Dean of the .osenstiel School of Marine and #tmospheric Science at the /niversity of Miami' Miami' >lorida' /S#. #fter a discussion with +rofessor Hay a$out the Qurans mention of recently discovered facts on seas' he said: 9& find it very interesting that this sort of information is in the ancient scriptures of the Holy Quran' and & have no way of %nowing where they would come from' $ut & thin% it is e4tremely interesting that they are there and that this wor% is going on to discover it' the meaning of some of the passages.< #nd when he was as%ed a$out the source of the Quran' he replied: 90ell' & would thin% it must $e the divine $eing.< E( Dr. -erald C. -oeringer is Course Director and #ssociate +rofessor of Medical Am$ryology at the Department of Cell 8iology' School of Medicine' -eorgetown /niversity' 0ashington' DC' and /S#. During the Aighth Saudi Medical Conference in .iyadh' Saudi #ra$ia' +rofessor -oeringer stated the following in the presentation of his research paper: 9&n a relatively few aayahs @Quranic verses( is contained a rather comprehensive description of human development from the time of commingling of the gametes through organogenesis. *o such distinct and complete record of human development' such as classification'

terminology' and description' e4isted previously. &n most' if not all' instances' this description antedates $y many centuries the recording of the various stages of human em$ryonic and fetal development recorded in the traditional scientific literature.< 1( Dr. :oshihide Fo;ai is +rofessor Ameritus at To%yo /niversity' Hongo' To%yo' 7apan' and was the Director of the *ational #stronomical ,$servatory' Mita%a' To%yo' 7apan. He said:9& am very much impressed $y finding true astronomical facts in the" Quran' and for us the modern astronomers have $een studying very small pieces of the universe. 0eve concentrated our efforts for understanding of a" very small part. 8ecause $y using telescopes' we can see only very few parts of" the s%y without thin%ing a$out the" whole universe. So' $y reading the" Quran and $y answering to the Guestions' & thin% & can find my future way for investigation of the universe.< H( +rofessor TeCatat TeCasen is the Chairman of the Department of #natomy at Chiang Mai /niversity' Chiang Mai' Thailand. +reviously' he was the Dean of the >aculty of Medicine at the same university. During the Aighth Saudi Medical Conference in .iyadh' Saudi #ra$ia' +rofessor TeCasen stood up and said: 9During the last three years' & $ecame interested in the Quran . . . . >rom my study and what & have learned from this conference' & $elieve that everything that has $een recorded in the Quran fourteen hundred years ago must $e the truth' which can $e proved $y the scientific means. Since the +rophet Muhammad could neither read nor write' Muhammad must $e a messenger who relayed this truth' which was revealed to him as an enlightenment $y the one who is eligi$le as the" creator. This creator must $e -od. Therefore' & thin% this is the time to say La ilaha illa Allah' there is no god to worship e4cept #llah @-od(' Muhammadur rasoolu Allah' Muhammad is Messenger @+rophet( of #llah @-od(. =astly' & must congratulate for the e4cellent and highly successful arrangement for this conference . . . . & have gained not only from the scientific point of view and religious point of view $ut also the great chance of meeting many well2%nown scientists and ma%ing many new friends among the participants. The most precious thing of all that & have gained $y coming to this place is La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadur rasoolu Allah' and to have $ecome a Muslim.<

#fter all these e4amples we have seen a$out the scientific miracles in the Holy Quran and all these scientists comments on this' let us as% ourselves these Guestions: Could it $e a coincidence that all this recently discovered scientific information from different fields was mentioned in the Quran' which was revealed fourteen centuries agoI Could this Quran have $een authored $y Muhammad' may the mercy and $lessings of -od $e upon him' or $y any other human $eingI

The only possi$le answer is that this Quran must $e the literal word of -od' revealed $y Him.
