REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FROM ARCHITECTS / ARCHITECTURAL FIRMS FOR DEVELOPING PROTOTYPE ARCHITECTURAL CONCEPT & ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNS FOR
Construction of Residential Building for MSEB Holding Company Ltd at Koyana Colony, Chembur,Mumbai.

Maharashtra State Electricity Board Holding Company Limited invites response from interested leading and reputed Architectural Consultancy firm from India for providing consultancy for construction of Residential Building as detailed below. A. Project Name and details: - Construction of Residential Building for MSEB Holding Company Ltd at Koyana Colony, Chembur, Mumbai. The company is planning for Construction of a Residential Building with stilt + 10 or more floors with four flats on each floor having carpet area of approximately 1000 to 1100 SqFt for each flat. The proposed construction is about 48000 SqFt. for ten floors and estimated cost of project is Rs 10.00 Crores approximately. B. Participating agencies shall be required :1. To prepare a detailed project report for construction of Residential Building making best use of the land available, covering the aspects such as techno feasibility, financial viability etc. 2. To prepare a detailed lay out plan of the project as a whole and detailed building plans and architectural and structural drawings and getting their approvals from the local bodies.

3. To prepare detailed estimates, tender documents, pre-qualification documents and co-ordination of various activities & Monitoring of the progress of works etc. The short listed firms through this E.O.I would have to participate in two stage Architectural Competition leading to final selection of the consultancy agency and their appointment for this project. The firms shall be required to give presentation before the company about their proposal at their own cost for the purpose of final selection of consultancy firm. C. Eligibility Criteria :1. If the consultancy firm is a sole proprietor then its proprietor should be registered with Council of Architecture, India or with the professional body of any foreign country established as per the law of land and if consultancy firm is a partnership firm then one of its partner should fulfill the above criteria. 2. Consultancy agencies having not less than 5 years experience in developing Residential complexes having successfully completed at least three works costing not less than Rs.6.00 crores INR each or one work costing not less than Rs.10.00 crores INR during the last 5 years. 3. Interested consultancy agencies are required to submit the information in their Expression of Interest about their firm in the format given below : 3.1 Experience in similar works during last 5 years. The details in the format should be given separately, clearly mentioning the status of the firm in whose name the particular work has been carried out.

4. Details of 5 best works shall be furnished. In case more details are provided then only first 5 projects will be considered for evaluation. Only

5. Information must be provided in the above format only. Otherwise the same will not be considered for evaluation. 6. Expression of interest must be sent in sealed envelope to the Chief Engineer (C), Civil Corporate Office, MSEDCL, Ground Floor, Prakashgad, Bandra(E). Mumbai- 400 051 by 4.00 pm on 30.04.2013. The applications received after the due date and time shall not be considered. 7. The MSEDCL reserves the right to reject any or all the EOI.s without assigning any reason thereof.
