FRIENDS ALIKE FUNERAL COVER

COVER MANAGEMENT & SETUP 1) The club will run a funeral cover to help when a member or a family member passes away. 2) 3) All existing members of the club will be covered by the plan. No waiting period for new members, a part of the new members club joining fee will be paid to the funeral cover to waive the waiting period. 4) A manager to be appointed to take care of the cover and give reports at meetings, manager to be part of the club committee Jack will hold the position till the AGM. 3) FINANCIAL MATTERS 1) Just like any other club fees, funeral cover monthly fees are compulsory. Monthly Fee to be paid by each member for the cover is R25. 2) A separate bank account shall be maintained in the name of the club for funeral cover. 3) No refund from funeral cover will be paid to members at any given stage. 4) The cover can borrow from the club account at no interest and payback as soon as funds are available. 5) It was decided that all fees owed by members for 2012 will go towards the funeral cover account. Amount owed R8549, to be paid back by members over the period of 24 months. FAMILY LISTS 1) All members to supply the club with a list showing his/her family, quantity of family members to be included to be decided from time to time. 2) Members to report a birth of a child, adoption and change in marriage status for list updating purpose. FUNERAL ATTENDANCE 1) 2) 3) 4) Members to make an effort to attend reported funerals A uniform to be worn at funerals were possible. Wreaths to be bought when attending a funeral. Each death must be reported to the manager, so the desired help and financial support can be given as soon as possible. No payout if the member owes 3 months fees or more. If a member is owing and his family member passes away, the club will pay as agreed minus the money owed. If a member is still active but owing funeral cover contributions, on passing away, the club will override debt and cover as is the member did not owe. A situation where 2 members got same family member on their lists the club will pay for both.

FRIENDS ALIKE DISSOLUTION 1) Should the club Dissolute,funeral cover funds will be used to pay the club debts should general funds not be enough.

2) Remaining funeral cover funds to be shared equal among

members kids on a system of 1 child per member.
