CHAIRMAN MESSAGE
We all have a social conscience. We desire to improve the environment around us. Something inside ourselves urges us to contribute, share and help, to do what we can to ameliorate the lives of our fellow-beings. It is this innate desire that impelled us to establish the NGO AWAMI KHIDMAT SOCIETY. Awami Khidmat Society is an NGO providing services of health, education and financial assistance for the poor and needy in Pakistan. The major activities of Awami Khidmat Society include provision of health care through health care centers, education for children is provided through formal and informal schools and financial assistance to widows. It is our fervent hope that we would be able to implement our vision in the shortest possible time. Our people have waited too long to see meaningful benefits accrue to them. They have toiled and suffered, and yearned for many things that never came their way. We owe it to our people to deliver to them what we can. In the same spirit, I would request all our well-wishers to extend to Awami Khidmat Society their support and encouragement. We pray to Allah to give us the strength and capability to achieve the tasks that we have set for ourselves".

We believe that only unity can change destiny of nations, it can kill poverty, hunger injustice and discrimination of all sorts and all human beings can enjoy their basic rights like; Health Care Services; Education Honest source of revenue; The basic rights of equal gender

Mission:
To develop a society in which individuals are aware of the basic right and are provided with equal opportunities to access health and educational facilities. The organization aims at empowering the local communities to work for the rights of people, who suffer from poverty, illiteracy, disease, injustice, violence and instability. Its mission is to improve the literacy rate and to raise the health status of the bereaved or less advantaged section of the society by addressing their current needs, utilizing their skills for their own development through the participation of all groups of the community.

Overall Objectives of Awami Khidmat Society:

1. To undertake activities in Health, Education, Poverty Alleviation, Human Rights, Women Rights and Child Rights. 2. To create the means for providing medical assistance to the people suffering from diseases, especially for helpless people. 3. To provide help under health & nutrition services for women children. 4. 5. To create Training/education centre and health centre. Addressing poverty through education and skill training and with special Focus on vulnerable and marginalized group like women and children. 6. To fight against exploitation, injustice and corruption if found against any individual, class, community in the society. 7. To undertake, support and subsidize measure, programmed, plans and schemes for rural uplift socio-economic welfare and modernization of rural areas especially in Health and Education. 8. To educate the people for adoption of the good norms of a good citizenship and to inculcate into the people's mind, ideals of national unity. 9. To provide help to people suffering from Natural calamities such as flood, Earthquakes, motor accidents etc. 10. To undertake any other work or assignment which may be for the general welfare of the people? and

Projects done by Awami Khidmat Society:

Awami Khidmat Society is providing financial assistance to widows and helpless on permanently basis. There are a lot of women who are permanently helped by the Society. Awami Khidmat Society is also providing financial assistance to those who want to do some productive activity. Organization will provide funds to those women who have a capability to support their family but they dont have enough funds to start some kind of small business. Awami Khidmat Society provides health facilities through free medical camps on monthly basis to those people who cannot afford medicine and other medical expenses. Awami Khidmat Society provides education facilities (financial assistance) to those people who cannot afford their education expenses. Awami Khidmat Society helped people in court and police cases. Awami Khidmat Society provide financial assistance for Hand Pumps in rural areas. Awami Khidmat Society focuses on empowerment and mobility of the women so that they can become a powerful helping hand of the society. Societys President and his team personally visit the hospitals and try to help people who are helpless and try to provide them help on spot.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

Monitoring & Evaluation is necessary to measure the program performance and effectiveness. Awami Khidmat Society has well established monitoring and evaluation, which supports all projects programs in their data collection, Data management and information generation. In addition through the supportive supervisory mechanism at all program level, keep the communication of information and feedback mechanism more effective. This information used to review the progress to take timely decisions regarding the modification in project implementation and future planning.

It provides platform to those who want to do something for poor, needy and helpless people but they dont have any platform.
