Objective
Seeking employment as a Computer Engineer with special interest in electronics and hardware.

Education
BS in Computer Engineering – December 2004
 Illinois Institute of Technology – Chicago, IL
Relevant Coursework
 Electrical Engineering – DC/AC Circuit Analysis, Microelectronics, Digital Systems, Computer
Architecture, VLSI, Microprocessors (MC68000), Power Electronics.
 Computer Science – Visual C++, Java, Software Engineering.
 Other Courses – Economic Engineering Analysis, Mathematics, Physics.

Professional Experience
Summer 2001, Spring 2002, Fall 2002 Fermi National Accelerator Laboratories Batavia, IL
Co-op: Particle Physics Division / Electrical Engineering Department
 Design, troubleshoot, repair and assemble circuits, pc boards (surface mount components) and electric
modules – RTF (Receive, Trigger and Filter), Auxiliary and Monitor Display, and equipment chassis’.
 Reduce electronic noise on ultra-low noise power supplies by a combination of component
placements, shielding and filtering as well as other design issues.
 Experimental/Infrastructural Test Setup – interface various modules utilized, install cooling fans and
data/power cables.
 Write reports of test results and maintain purchase records and component inventories for projects.
 Authored a user’s manual for the RTF module.
 Projects Involved – Cryogenic Dark Matter Search (E891), Switchyard # 1 – Beams Division.

Professional Skills
 Hardware Language/Applications: Motorola MC68000, VHDL, Verilog, Magic, Sue, Signalscan,
Synopsys, Gemini, IRSIM, Altera Max Plus II, Pspice, Veribest Design Capture.
 Programming Languages: Visual C++, Windows API, Java.
 General Applications: Microsoft Office Tools, Front Page, Canvas 7.0, Adobe PhotoShop.

Academic Projects
 Multi-cycle 32 bit Processor: Designed a 32 bit RISC processor using VHDL on the Altera
Max Plus II platform. Wishbone interface was used to connect the datapath.
 8 bit Slice Processor Layout: Designed an 8 bit-slice processor using VLSI Design. The
description was synthesized into layout using cadence tools and other libraries developed at IIT.
 Inter Professional Project: Investigation of Engineering, social and economic issues of
Blackouts in United States with more emphasis on 1965, 1977 and 2003 Blackouts.
 AC to DC Power Supply: Designed an AC to DC switch mode power supply for a cell phone
using power electronics concepts of rectifiers and buck converters.
 Grocery Store Checkout System: Designed a grocery store checkout system using Object
Oriented approach and data structures in Visual C++. The user enters the product and discount coupon
codes and the program prints the cashiers receipt. The user also has ability to maintain the grocery stock.
 Airline Reservation System: Designed an online airline reservation system in Java, similar to
Expedia.com. RMI Server was designed to connect to the web server to retrieve flight information from
Access database.
