Brochure
Description: A two sided, one fold brochure. Process (Programs, Tools, Skills):
I made my project using Indesign and Photoshop. I used the newsletter project as a base for the structure of my brochure, but I changed it up a lot and added my own details. During this project, I actually changed the front and back sides of the brochure more than 5 times for each because I couldnt decide on how I wanted it to look. The inner pages turned out better than I was hoping and so I only made minior adjustments to them, such as adding more text, and re-positioning the elements. I used Illustrator to add an earth and then designed the text in the center with the oil splashing over the top of the earth to represent the companies goal to decrease the oil that is damaging our planet. As I placed the images, I used textwrap on the inner pages to keep the text from overlapping on the images and creating nice flow.

Message: PACC is a company that is trying to invite others to work together and protect the earth from oil spills. Audience: The target audience of this brochure is for anyone who wants to help decrease oil spills. PACC also sells Oil
Drip Mats which catches spilling oil from cars. A great target audience can also be car mechanics who have to deal with leaking oil, these mats would work perfectly for them.

Top Thing Learned: I learned how to create a brochure and use some new helpful tools in Indesign. As I learn these
new skills, I plan on applying them to my career to help myself with future works.

Color scheme and color names: Monochromatic. My brochure is mostly made up of different shades of gray. Title Font Name & Category: Trebuchet MS, Sans Serif Copy Font Name & Category: Plantagenet Cherokee, Oldstyle Word count: 293

Message: The message of this image is for people to strive to be like Christ. Audience: The audience is for faithful followers of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints Top Thing Learned: I learned a new set of useful tools I can use in Photoshop, such as the option to specific color
selecting, and even color enhancing.

Color scheme and color names: Cool colors. Olive-green (green), gold (yellow), tan, turquoise (blue). Title Font Name: Monotype Corsiva Font Category: Decorative Date and location you took the photo(s): I took the photo of the temple from my apartment window.

Logos
Description: These logos are for a business called Birds of Prey, which is a shelter for a wide variety of birds, as well
as an educational facility.

Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I used Illustrator to put these logos together. For the top logo, I drew the
hawk body, and colored it in the edit program, before pasting it in illustrator. I then under-layered the wooden board and cropped the feet before pasting them over the board. For the middle logo, I drew and pasted the wings, added the text over it, and then circled it with three different colored circles. The last logo, I drew the bird using circles, and two triangles. Underneath the bird, I pasted the text, & added the circling border as a finishing touch.

Message: The message of these logos is to invite people to visit the bird sanctuary and learn about how they thrive and
what different types of birds there are.

Audience: The audience of these logos is for middle schoolers and adults who want to learn more about the predator
type birds, but the Birds of Prey sanctuary also has smaller birds.

Top Thing Learned: I learned how to use more illustrator tools. Ive used it in the passed, but not to its full extent. Three Color Schemes and Color Names:

Logo #1 Monochromatic (brown) Logo #2 Analogous (Orange, yellow, green)

Logo #3 Complementary (Royal blue, orange)

Three sets of Title / Body Font Names & Categories:

Top Logo Font #1 Name & Category: Rocky Shore (decorative) Top Logo Font #2 Name & Category: NA (Only one font) Middle Logo Font #1 Name & Category: Bauhaus 93 (Sans Serif) Middle Logo Font #2 Name & Category: NA (Only one font) Bottom Logo Font #1 Name & Category: Cooper Black (Slab Serif) Bottom Logo Font #2 Name & Category: NA (Only one font)

Photomontage
Description: Photomontage; Reach for the stars! Dont settle for less, set your sights to higher goals. Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I purely used Photoshop to edit the images and paste the text. To crop out the
image, I used the lasso tool and then feathered and blurred the edge to make sure the image didnt look poorly cropped.

Message: The message is to never sell yourself short. Reach for higher goals. Audience: The audience is for anyone who is struggling. This image is for encouragement. Top Thing Learned: I learned how to layer images on top of each other. This is a very useful tool that I know I will be
using more often in the future.

Filter / Colorization used and where it was applied: I turned down the texts opacity and made it a little transparent to blend into the background.

Stationary
Letterhead
Description: Stationary logo project for Infinity Design. Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I used Illustrator to design and color the logo, as well as InDesign. I first used
the shape tool and placed a solid square. I created two more squares and deleted a side on each creating two triangles. I placed each triangle on either side of the square, and then used the pathfinder to merge the shapes together to form one solid shape, before I copied and pasted 6 copies of the trapezoid. For the letterhead of this project, I added the logo as a background and made it transparent. I then created a smaller version of logo and placed it in the top left corner. Next to the logo, I added decorated lines with information placed at the end on the right.

Message: The message of this stationary project is that there are an infinite amount of designs. Everything is unique
and has its own appearance or design. Even each grain of sand on a beach is different. The logo and company is for designing.

Audience: The audience is for web designers and/or art designers. Top Thing Learned: Creating a letterhead was a lot simpler than creating a business card. For the letterhead, all I
had to do was set the logo as a background image, and then place the content around it, but the business card requires figuring out how the card would be flipped and deciding where the elements should be placed. By learning how to design business cards and letterheads, I feel that I may be able to use it for my web development career.

Color scheme and color names: Analogous. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, & purple. Title Font Name & Category: Arial Rounded MT Bold Copy Font Name & Category: Bell MT

Stationary
Business Card
Description: Stationary logo project for Infinity Design. Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): For the business card of the stationary project, I used Indesign. Using the same
line decoration from the letter head, I added it to the front and back of the card, but I made it slightly transparent. Next I added the logo and placed the information next to it.

Message: The message of this stationary project is that there are an infinite amount of designs. I tried to make the
business card look professional but also fun and colorful.

Audience: The audience is for web designers and or art designers.

Top Thing Learned: I learned how to make a nice and professional business card. After the initial logo project, creating a new logo was a lot simplier.

Color scheme and color names: Analogous. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, & purple. Title Font Name & Category: Arial Rounded MT Bold (San Serif) Copy Font Name & Category: Bell MT

Stationary
Letterhead
Description: Stationary project for a company named Prime Associates Contractors Coorporation. Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I used Illustrator to design and color the logo, as well as InDesign. For the logo,
I found the picture of an earth, and added the oil and test on top of it. Next, I used the pen tool to make the wavy border and then placed it on the top and bottom. The wavy border is representational of oil, since the companies target is to save the environment by decreasing oil spills.

Message: The message of this stationary project is for people to band together to clean up the oil spills and protect our
environment.

Audience: The audience is for environmentalists, mechanics, preservationists, and the general public. Top Thing Learned: Using my previous skills, I designed this letterhead and business card similarily, but I changed
the font, placement of a few elements, and added a new border.

Color scheme and color names: Complementary Colors (Blue and orange) Title Font Name & Category: Arial Rounded MT Bold (Sans Serif) Copy Font Name & Category: Bell MT (Old style)

Stationary
Business Card
Description: Stationary project for a company named Prime Associates Contractors Coorporation. Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I used Photoshop to design the logo, and Indeisgn was used as the template for
the projects completion. For this project, I ended up making two logos. The oil spilling over the Earth was going to be the logo representing the company, but I realized I needed to make the logo myself, so I used it as a background instead and then created another logo from scratch. The logo was quite simple to make. I quickly made a shape that resembled a water droplet and then duplicated it. On each side, i placed three of the droplets and made them decrease in size. For the final touch, I placed the abbreviation of the companys name in text.

Message: The message of this stationary project is for people to band together to clean up the oil spills and to protect
our environment.

WebPage
Description: A web page to show the logo I made. Process (Programs, Tools, Skills): I used Notepad for my HTML coding. I also used Adobe Illustrator to create
my logo. I found the sunset picture on the internet. I saved the image URL and set it as the background image is the Cascading Style Sheet. I then set the text limitations to move the text away from the borders of the page.

Message: The message of this website is that designing is limitless, such as the boundless sky, and the seemingly
endless field.

Audience: Designers Top Thing Learned: I learned that Textwrangler is an awesome program for HTML and CSS styling. I much prefer
it over Notepad, but Im not a MAC user. I prefer PC so notepad works just fine. I have taken previous classes on coding webpages so this assignment wasnt anything new. Although I did learn how to use Photoshop for finding colors off of any photo just by using the color dropper and dragging it off Photoshop to the specified color I want.

Color scheme and color hex: The color scheme seen is analogous. Red, orange, yellow, blue, and green. Title Font Families & Category: Arial Rounded MT (Sans Serif) Copy Font Families & Category: Garamond (Serif) (Old) Changes made to the CSS: I reorganized the table pictures, and moved the text more towards the middle.
