Assalamualaikum Firstly I would like to say Alhamdulillah and thanks to Allah, I have managed to finish this assignment before the deadline day. REFLECTION
ALHAMDULILLAH, Thank to the Almighty God, for blessing me, so this task can be finished in a very good way. I managed to finish this work without many problems coming against me. I would also like to show my full appreciation to my parents for their supports to me all this while and also my appreciation to Mr. Mohd Noor bin Ibrahim because of his guides to do this task. Also not to be forgotten to my fellow friends who actually lend a helping hand on this assignment. Their idea and opinion really help me to do better on this assignment. I began this task by reading and understanding the tasks first. Then I need to find out the format of task to begin this course work. Later I arranged the material that I get from many sources. It is quite difficult to keep doing this task because it comes with many other subjects tasks. But, with hard work, it became easier. The obstacles that happened to me during making the assignment are I did not know how to do the work. After asking my lecturer and classmates, then I am able to understand of the task given. That is one new experience to me in TSL 3109 subject. After that, I did not facing any problems when doing the task and my assignment running smoothly. In the beginning of process to complete this assignment, I do not face a lot of trouble because I have a great team with me which is accompany by my classmates. Maybe the problem that occurs is time because I also need to separate my time so wisely so I do not left anything behind. Before I was given this kind of assignment, I do not know about the procedure on how to make it. So I feel so nervous thinking if I can get everything right. It is very important for me because I can apply this type of assignment to my students soon. This assignment teaches me to be more patient, more responsible, and become better to find and pick the best choices. There are a few things that I learnt from this task. The first related to the planning of the classroom arrangement. The arrangement comes first because I want to create a safe, orderly and comfortable place to learn. Well placed resources and facilities and instructional materials will help to create conducive physical

environment to promote effective teaching and learning.

Secondly are the

instructional strategies. When planning a lesson, I have to consider this factor as it plays an important role to ensure that the lesson carried out went smoothly between transition without stopping and let pupils have free time on their hand which will resulted in misbehaviour. The third is the employment of the classroom theories. I mostly attracted to use the instructional management which focuses on preventing management problems before they occur by actively engaging pupils in high interest lessons. This way, pupils will be motivated to positively participate in activities and manage their own behaviour. Other than that, what I learnt from this task also gave me idea on how to manage a classroom not only the pupils but the classroom itself. I can learn how to create a conducive and comfortable classroom. There are ways on how to create a comfortable classroom by making the classroom just like at home. First, decorations for example posters provide opportunity for more passive absorption of information. When students are paying attention to you, they learn from you. However, when students arent paying attention to you, theyre looking around the room. What will they see? Will they see signs and materials that reinforce the life lessons and academic insights you give, or will they see meaningless colourful dcor that gives them something to think about other than learning? As we can see, every classroom has the same arrangement of the desks that is face to the whiteboard. So it is hard for the pupils to make activities. They have to walk and find their friends. So how can we manage it? In a 1987 article, Jon Saphier and Robert Gower provide these basic space guidelines. The materials students use should be visibly stored and accessible. The teacher should arrange the room s that he/she can monitor quickly and easily (no blind spots). A teacher should use vertical space for display and learning enrichments. lastly is having clear and safe traffic paths no matter how your room is arranged Finally I give the last touch so that when people read it they understand it and can lend a hand to them. As difficult as this task to be carried out, it was very beneficial to me. I am happy I was able to have this opportunity as it opens my eyes and my mind to better my teaching practice. They gave me many great knowledge

and ideas to a variety of ways to implement various activities. My classroom instruction and layout will be much better because of what I have learnt. Thank You.
