Based on our NU Integration understood the following{ f4 .
There- was.a
1. Teacherfreluctance to accept new technology
2. Fear that the technology will not perform as anticipated
3. Overwhelming amount of information on the functionality of the projector with no clear
simple direction on how to use one.
Objectives
Based on our understanding of the scope of the projec!Jhe team came up with the following
objectives that the solution will ; J
1. Geate a formatlfh4f1s both visually stimulating and informative I
2. Simplify the abundAnce of information available for the In Focus interactive projectors in , 1 _
such a way the represents how easy the projector is to use by anyone in any teaching v
field.
From our initial orientation and our following investigatiofltit was determined that there
a multitude of functions associated with the projector. These functions seemed to be thesole
method for describing and trying to convince customers to use the projector, yet all of this
information is overwhelming. We collectively decided that if these functions were
and something could be illustrate just how easy using these projectors could
would be a successful project. \ J

-8ai&9 eA eur wderstandlng of the Ute soe understood that the teacherS' ,;f
shared a more traditional view of education and technol g the organization decided to
provide a printable document in the form of an information graphic. This method of delivery is
both modern and classic in the sense that it is f visually appealing but traditional due
to the physical natu of the document. This also llows for the document to be passed around
and hung with each rejector, displaying the key teps to use them
It was ultimately con luded that a majority of the f nctions of the projector could be narrowed
down to three key st ps. These steps along with s pporting information about the necessity of
technology in the cia sroom are presented in the OF attached to this document.

Dear Ian, Andrew, Jacque, Bret, Rhodes, Sam, Jake,
Your combination of documents prepared for HOME, Inc. are imaginative and carefully calibrated to serve
a strategically identified problem. The reference document itself, as described be the logic offered cogently in the
cover letter and proposal, is visually appealing and works to serve its audience specific needs and attitudes with
some elegance of form-a one-page, double sided print document. The document harnesses descriptive and
statistical knowledge for its purpose. It offers a clearly illustrated instructional sequence. This is a document
designed thoughtfully with the conditions of use, complex as they are, in mind, and it succeeds nicely. Excellent
work.
I've marked directly strengths and elements that might be strengthened, including some grammatical and
syntactical elements that with time and distance you will recognize yourself. If in considering these possibilities, you
revise your document just a bit further before submission, you will offer your best work and I encourage this-the
decision is yours.
Your groups displayed great resourcefulness and imagination in research, design of documents, delegating
work, and communicating with each other and the community partner-and I realize this latter communication was
uneven. Your group shows great dedication and capacities.
Yours appreciatively,
TomAkbari
