REFLECTIVE REPORT: First, I would like to thank my lecturer, Mr. Yaakub bin Ismail, who taught me English Language Proficiency 1. He has been very helpful to us as he guided us patiently when we met obstacles. He is so responsible and always explains to us whenever we do not understand the coursework. He also never stops to give us advices to improve our coursework. I feel dedicated for having such a good, loving and caring lecturer. In the process to complete this coursework, I was facing a lot of problems when doing my part. Firstly, it is hard for us to find the article from different sources. It is because the article that we have chosen must be the article related to the moral values among college students. The articles that contain moral values were not difficult to find it, but the moral values among the college students were being a big obstacle for us to do our assignment. However, with the help from our lecturer and classmates, we find out the article from newspaper, internet and others that are related to the title. Then, the problem is solved. On the way to complete this task, I have learned much knowledge about plagiarism. I learned that plagiarism is a very big problem that happened among college students. The main cause is students lack of time to do the work. Therefore, they just do the plagiarism without the permission from author. The best solution that can solve this problem is lecturer should make assignment deadlines clear and teach students time management skills. This course work can give us a good learning experience. This is because this task can provide new information, experience and knowledge to us. Experience and the knowledge that we gain can improve our thinking about biology. From this task, I learned a lot of things that about plagiarism, include definition, types of plagiarism, causes and the solution. In a nutshell, I was able to learn a lot of new knowledge through coursework. I also get a lot of new experiences through the course work. In

addition, I learned to how to solve the problems faced by mature and correct. This knowledge will certainly help me in the future. LILY LING HUI LI

I had done my English Language Proficiency 1 course work and I learnt a lot of things when I am doing this task. By the way, I would like to thanks my parents who bought a new printer for me, and all the lecturers who gave advices and tips for us to finish our assignment. At my opinion, this task is quite interesting and challenging for me because we had the liberty either we can choose three articles from internet, libraries and resources centers. Then we had to identify an issue to highlight then organise our ideas pertaining to the issue in at least three thinking maps. Three of us choose the articles from the internet so we did not knew which article they had chosen at first. Once we had chosen the same article means that one of us had to change to another article. After came back from program Bina Insan Guru, all of us were going home to PBS, therefore we could not discuss the assignment face to face. After went home, I found a new problem it was I could not sent out the part I had done to my group members because of I live in a rustic which I could not access the internet so I had to ask help from my father to send me to the town so I can sent the work at KFC that had WIFI service. Through this lesson, I will finish my works first before went home next time. Thus, this task was a good learning experience because we can found out a lot of moral values related to college students like me that. And I just realised that the most serious immoral thing that college students done was plagiarism. During the rushing assignment season, students had to finish their work in a short period so they straight away copied their works from internet or from their friends. At college, we just learnt about something related to academic but now I had the chance to learn about schools issues and the most important is I had learnt time management was very important to not rush our assignment on last minute. I hope that students can do their own works by themselves so that they can prove that they understood and can grasp the knowledge. Besides that, I preferred our juniors to do this task face to face so that they can discuss the

problems together and communication on internet was not better than communication straight to each other. LIM SIEW HOEY

First of all, I would like to thank you my ELP lecturer, En Yaakub because of his guiding and we able to complete this work within the time given. I also want say thank you to my friend, Lily Ling and Lim Siew Hoey, who also took part in this and I appreciated the co-operation they gave for me to complete this assignment. Along the way I done my job duties of this work, I found that we cannot rely on the notes given by lecturer only. We must explore ourselves whether from internet or library when given new knowledge. With this, we can have a better understanding about the subject that we learned. Next, I also learnt how to arrange the time table and also the duties to complete this work. We two work hard together and solving the question we faced or ask the lecturer for a better solving. Work together is very important because without it, we will not complete this work easily and smoothly. Although we spend lots of time to solve it, but it is worth. This task is quite interesting for me, because I can gain the more knowledge. Example like the moral issues facing among college students like drug abused, punctuality, tolerance, and so on. I can go the library with my teammate to search the articles, also from internets. Besides, this is a very good learning experience because with this, I can focus on a certain topic and having research for the information. Also, I learned the new thing, i-THINK a project which equips Malaysia's next generation of innovators to think critically and be adaptable in preparation

for the future. This project helps schools impart thinking skills to students, allowing them to be lifelong learners; great at solving problems and coming up with creative solutions Last but not the least, I have some suggestions to those students who will doing this assignment also. First, do not think this task is easy because you have to find many relevant statistic or information about the topic from trusted site or books. Next, do not burn midnight oil because this will affect your performance next day and start the task earlier! Thank you. SIM CHI KEONG
