Conclusion/ Recommendations for Mystic Monk Coffee

Name:

Institution:

2 BUSINESS The competitive advantage of Mystic Monk Coffee has been influenced by many factors. These include its ability to improve or constructively modify decent products into great ones (Mystic Monk Coffee's standard- blend of fresh and ground coffee). It also has an already popular and familiar sandwich as well as bakery menu (Ismaily & Tzudiker, 2008). Mystic Monk Coffee's also has a huge and core loyal customer base comprising of people who are always willing to have it latest and greatest menu offerings. Mystic Monk Coffee is used for monastery and is a major money-maker. The assessment of Mystic Monk Coffee's customer value does have value as its sales have expanded to wholesalers as well as coffee clubs. In the long run, its profit range has gone up to 11% of revenue. Free labor as well as non-profit and therefore no taxes make roasting coffee in monastery a value creation venture which delivers much gain to customers (Godsmark, Arduser & Brown, 2004). From Mystic Monk Coffee's case, it is not apparent that Father Daniel Mary has performance targets or definite objectives. However, he has a goal of being able to afford the ranch property even though it is one of the long-term goals. Mystic Monk Coffee's strategic winning approach includes the fact that its strategy actually fits the current situation of the company even though not for future plans. Mystic Monk Coffee's has yielded various sustainable competitive advantages which are above average even though not as superior as those of modest performances as compared to other coffee companies (Hoskisson & Hitt, 2008). Mystic Monk Coffee also has had a sound financial performance which needs to advance in market and the companys competitive strength.

3 BUSINESS I would recommend that Mystic Monk Coffee's management considers changing its objectives to well include the purchase of new and advance equipment (such as a new roaster) to accrue more profit making and selling coffee to ultimately buy a ranch (Monaghan & Huffaker, 1995). In addition, it should increase its capacity especially that of Monk Coffee's roaster to produce up to 540 pounds each day. Similarly, it should expand its production with time through devotion to prayer, silent meditation as well as worship.
