As KidsCare Therapy continues to embark upon our tenth year in the pediatric home health industry, it makes me proud to see the core values of this company still being exemplified in all that we do. I know that our focus on Commitment, Accountability, Results and Ethics are the reason that KidsCare Therapy is a success. I truly believe that we use our core values as the foundation for every decision that we make, and I have learned through my years with KidsCare Therapy that when things are done the right way, success may not always be easy, but it will come. In my last letter, I focused on our commitment to our community, our employees, and our clients. Throughout our ten years of service, KidsCare Therapy has remained committed to constantly improving our processes, our standards of quality, and the overall care that we provide to our clients and business partners. One of the best ways we have found to continue this process of improvement is to hold ourselves accountable in every facet of our work to those who we interact with on a daily basis. First and foremost, we are accountable to our clients. From the time a referral is given to us, we make contact with the caregiver within 24 hours to let them know what the intake process will consist of, and how we plan on serving their child. Once therapy services have begun, our therapists responsibility is to incorporate the caregiver in the therapy sessions and progress so that questions are answered and there is a constant transparency in the clients progress. In addition, KidsCare Therapy has office staff dedicated

to reaching out to each of our clients on a consistent basis to ensure our therapist are held accountable to providing the highest standard of therapy. KidsCare Therapy also prides itself on our accountability to our physicians. Our clients primary physicians have a responsibility of overseeing every aspect of their clients health. By sending us a referral, we know that they are entrusting us with the childs health. We take that responsibility with a great amount of honor and importance. Knowing this, KidsCare Therapy ensures our physicians are informed of the status of staffing, any changes in health or medication, progress, excessive missed visits, and of discharges. These notifications are sent, holding us accountable for each step of the process with the client to their physician. KidsCare Therapys commitment to accountability has allowed us to constantly improve every step of our processes over the last ten years, and has fostered strong relationships, based on trust, within the communities we service. If you are interested in learning more about our services, please contact the KidsCare Therapy office to schedule an in-service.

KidsCare Therapy at TSHA

KidsCare was excited to head into their 8th year at the TSHA conference. It was packed with excitement, information, and give-a-ways. Several KidsCare employees attended the yearly conference put on by the Texas SpeechLanguage Hearing Association. Once they arrived in Houston, KidsCare quickly set up for a full weekend of on-site interviews, networking, and seminars given by top professionals in the field. It is definitely a big event each year said Krystal Szczsponik, recruiter for KidsCare. We speak to over 2,000 people and always find great candidates that we feel would be a great fit at KidsCare Therapy.

KidsCare Therapy made quite an impression at the TSHA conference.

For over 60 years, Ability Connections has been empowering and providing vital care to people who are living with disabilities in the United States. Working with many different service providers, they empower individuals to live the best life possible by removing barriers that inhibit independence and autonomy. So when they needed sponsors for their Ability Walk at the Dallas Zoo, naturally, KidsCare Therapy was one of the first to volunteer. This years Ability Walk was nothing short of a complete success. Several KidsCare Therapy employees were able to participate in the event, including Clinical Photo Credit: Adrian Arcila Managers Kate Short and Molly McNown, and Physicial Physician Liason Abigail and her family Liason Abigail Chavez. Not only did we as empoyees get to connect with the community we serve, but our own families were able to stretch their legs and enjoy each others company. KidsCare Therapys sponsorship was organized by Community Relations Coordinator Ashley Woolsey. This area has a strong support for KidsCare and we are very excited to return the favor. The Ability walk was a wonderful and heartfelt experience for our entire KidsCare Therapy team. This years Ability Walk was an immensely enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone involved. We look forward to our future partnerships with Ability Connections Texas.
