A,stract
-or the purpose of improving the performance of ship motion control" this paper proposes an inte ligent reference modeling adaptive contro ler for ship steering. The contro ler is ,ased on artificial inte ligence. /e used fu00y logic and neural networks to design the feed,ack contro ler" used multilayer perceptron neural network to design the reference model and the identification network. 1ased on the fu00y control and neural network" an inte ligent adaptive control algorithm was presented in the paper. In order to enhance adaptive characteristics of the contro ler" the parameters of mem,ership functions and connection weights were revised online ,y neural network learning algorithm. The simulating result indicates that the performance of the ship contro ler is valua,le and easy to implement. 2age 32 2age 1
