Objective of the conference :


The objective of the conference is to create greater awareness, the need for understanding and implementing green technologies for buildings & infrastructure and its applications. The seminar will also provide a platform for architects, builders, consultants, researchers academicians and NGOs to share their knowledge and experience, existing policies, standards and procedures and prepare an action plan for enhancing knowledge and implementation of green technology in buildings and infrastructure. Leading personalities who have contributed significantly in these areas and officials / policy makers from concerned government departments will be delivering lead lectures in the conference. In addition, researchers, academicians, architects, consultants, builders, NGOs and others involved in building & infrastructure will be invited to make presentations. An exhibition is also being planned to showcase the concept of green technology and leadership in energy and environmental design and certification.

The abstract of the proposed paper may be sent (300 to 400 words in times new roman of font size 12) to the organizing secretary through email. The council is represented by all stakeholders of construction industry comprising of Corporate, Government & Nodal Agencies, Architects, Product manufacturers, Institutions, etc. The vision of the council is to usher green building revolution and India to become one of the world leaders in green buildings by 2015. IGBC is facilitating the green building movement through the Certification of Green Buildings in India.

About INAE :
The Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) founded in 1987 comprises Indias most distinguished engineers, engineer-scientists and technologists covering the entire spectrum of engineering disciplines, and functions as an apex body to promote and advance the practice of engineering and technology and the related sciences and disciplines in India and their application to problems of national importance.
