The First Licensed vaccines to help prevent measles became available to society in the 1963.

After, few years mumps and rubella disease out broke and the three diseases were combined in the 1917 creating one vaccine, which was the MMR vaccine (Measles: Questions and Answers). In this essay I will discuss the issue related to MRR Vaccine (for measles, mumps, and rubella), which was proven to not be fully tested causing disorders such as, autism. Through few discoveries it was found that at the time the MMR programme started during 1988 in Britain attempt to resolve the issue. By, this time the children in United States had been having the vaccine with no safety issue for over 15 years (Some facts about the MMR vaccine UK Department of Health, 2004). This issue made me interested to learn more about because the paper publish by Andrew Wakefield was false and the MMR Vaccine actual help people prevent disease such as mumps, measles and rubella. Diseases are abnormal conditions that affect the body organisms. It is often creates a medical conditions related with specific symptoms and signs. To help cure such disease it is needed to use vaccines work by imitating the disease agents and stimulating the immune system to help builds protection to fight against them. The Immune System helps to protect the body from pathogens which are agents that could result to causing diseases. The vaccine is like phoney pathogen it appearances as a certain bacteria or virus to the immune system but, it helps keep you safe instead of making the body feel sick. There are several molecules that cover Pathogens named antigen that can help start a specific response from the immune system. Vaccinations also exposures the human body to antigens that are also found in pathogens as well. This is done by posing a precise pathogen and the vaccine encourages the immune system to respond with rapidness and strength to help the body encounter the disease if come across in the future (How Vaccines Work). This helps cure the disease and also helps avoid any issue with this disease reoccurring in the future. For Example with the MMR vaccine it helps treat mumps, rubella and measles for reoccurring in the future. The controversy of the MMR Vaccine had taken place in 2004. The controversy that had occurred was started by a paper that was published in the British Medical Journal, The Lancet. The paper was written and published by Andrew Wakefield. He claimed that the MMR vaccine was not fully tested, therefore an unsafe vaccine to use. This was because he felt that it would be link to causing other disorders such as, autism. There has been case in Jenny McCarthy a celebrity from the United States has autistic son who has been receiving support from a group called Generation Rescue which, aims to help those that are affect by the MMR vaccine. Though, the disease has had an impact on few of the people in the society but, there was an investigation that took place by Brain Deer that found that Andrew Wakefield had received 435,000 to instruct that
