(iv) Conclusion: t = - 0.156 does not lie in the critical region. Fail to reject . Conclude that there is no significant difference in the performance in the exam between both classes.

2. Dependent t-test The marks of Additional Mathematics Mid Year Exam (PPT) and Year End Exam (PAT) for 30 students in Form 4PA2 are shown below. We are going to determine whether there is a significant difference between their performance in Additional Mathematics for Mid Year Exam and Year End Exam.
