Subject: Empanelment / Engagement of Senior Consultants (2), Research Associates (2), Senior Research Fellow (2), Junior Research Fellow (4), Data Analyst (2) & Helper (2) in National Institute of Solar Energy National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) is an Autonomous Institute of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India recently created by converting its erstwhile Solar Energy Centre to function as an Apex National Centre for research and technology development and related activities in the areas of Solar Energy Technologies in the Country. NISE is located on a 200 acre campus at the Gurgaon- Faridabad Road, Gwalpahari, Gurgaon. The Institute works on development of Solar Energy Technologies and practices and contributes in advancement of related Science and Engineering. The R & D activities of NISE are carried out in coordination with other research organizations and industry. NISE invites applications from suitable candidates for their empanelment / engagement under the following categories. Sl. No 1. 2 (Two) Senior Consultants Solar Thermal (ST) 1 No. Solar Photovoltaic(SPV) 1 No. (i) Essential Qualification(s) Masters degree in Science or M.Tech in Engineering / B. Tech. with Ph. D in Solar Energy from a recognized university (ii) Experience : Working Experience should be more than 20 years in the relevant field (ST or SPV). Senior Professor with Experience / Scientist (Retired or Retiring) with several years of research experience /R&D projects Consultancy/organizing training program and having exposure for Indian and foreign Universities will be preferred. (iii) Desirable Retired Senior Professor/Director of an R&D institution/ Leader of Research Group will be Preferred.

Should be Rs. 75,000 per conversant month. with co-ordination of Solar R & D activities / Solar Projects

(Physics or Renewable Energy) from a recognized university equivalent with at least 60% marks and Two years of working experience in Solar Energy OR M. Tech. in Energy or Solar Energy with at least 60% marks. (ii) Desirable: Experience in R & D Centres /Institutions/Industries whereas at least one year should be in solar energy.

Purely on shortterm contract basis for a period of one year which can be extended on year to year basis as maximum period of three years depending on the performance of the candidate /need of the institution.
