PART A

SDA FOR AMO 2013

1 what were the objectives of the department this year? a. To empower 5 church members at KANDABWE in viable business venture b. To have 30 affiliated AMO members c. Generate 20 interest d. Baptise 30 souls at the prison e. Build one house for a needy family at Kandabwe

2. What did the department achieve ? a. 17no members affiliated to AMO b. 23no souls at Kamfinsa Prison were baptised c. A damaged house for a needy member at Kandabwe was repaired. 3. What were the challenges? a. insufficient resources to undertake all planned plans. b. lack of interest by some members to join AMO c. reluctance by non affiliated members to pay affiliated fees. d. reluctance by members to attend meetings other than on Sabbath day hence unable to discuss issues in depth.

PART B What does the department aim to achieve? a. To empower 3no church members preferably at Kandabwe branch to undertake viable business ventures. b. To grow affiliated membership to 30no c. To baptise 25no souls at Kamfinsa Prison. d. To generate 20 interests e. To involve a minimum of 50 no members to participate in fitness walks every quarter f. To undertake hospital visitations for spiritual and material support once every two quarters g. To construct a bus shelter at the church bus stop PART C What will the department do to achieve the above objectives? Quarter 1 a. Identify the 3no church members that need to be assisted and assist in the preparation of the business plan, b. Secure allocation of space in the Sabbath bulletin on continuous basis to promote AMO activities and generate interest from potential members. c. Conduct one session of Sabbath worship at Kandabwe branch and Kamfinsa prison respectively.

d. Distribute literature and make donations during the above sessions. e. Identify and visit 3 no of church members who have family members not belonging to SDA church. f. Visit members who are sick and those backsliding in the faith. g. Undertake a visit to the hospital to distribute items to the needy patients and conduct prayers h. Organise a fitness walk i. Generate a list of all potential AMO members as a basis of recruitment effort. QUARTER 2 a. Assist one of the members who has qualified for financial assistance. b. Commence planning for the construction of the bus shelter. c. Conduct Sabbath worship at Kandabwe branch and Kamfinsa prison d. Visit sick members and those faltering in faith e. Make a donation to a home headed by eldery parents or orphan child or children. F Organise a fitness walk. QUARTER 3 a. Cconstruct the bus shelter. b. Visit the hospital and make a donation to the patients.

c. Conduct Sabbath worship at Kandabwe, d. Organise a fitness walk. e. Assist the second qualified member with finance for approved project. f. Visit the sick and those faltering in faith. g. Visit church families with relations who are not SDA members. QUARTER 4 a. Hold AMO day. b. Conduct crusade at Kamfinsa prison. c. Make a donation to a vulnerable home headed by an eldery family or orphan children. d. Organise a fitness walk
