/e#lection: (0hat ha+e (ou learned about (our students3 How will this inform future instruction32 The students were +er( engaged in the plant acti+it(, wanting to touch the soil, pour the water into the pot and pat the seeds into the soil- #ome students focused too much on pouring the water into the pot and ended up flooding the soil with water- #ome students chose to not participate in the planting of the seeds, but still drew obser+ations from other students7 flower cups into their own science 6ournal- ?or future instruction, & would ha+e di+ided the soil up into two separate bins that wa( more students would be able to utili@e it at once- & onl( had one bin of soil and all the students wanted to touch it, resulting in too man( students in a small area- )nother wa( & could impro+e this lesson would be to ma4e one table the grass table and the other the sunflower seed table, in order to pre+ent students from mi1ing the two seeds into one cup-
