TheDiplomainMathematicalSciencesenablesstudentstogainanadditionalqualificationin mathematicswhilstcompletingtheirundergraduatedegree.WithintheDiploma,studentscomplete therequirementsofaMajorinMathematicsandStatistics,whileundertakingaseparatemajorina differentstudyareafortheirBachelordegree. Eligibilityrequirements Studentscanapplyatanytimeduringtheirundergraduatedegree,butmustapplybefore commencingthefirstMathematicsandStatisticssubjectsthatcounttowardstheDiploma only(i.e.nottowardstheBachelordegreeonlyorcrosscreditedtoboththedegreeandthe Diploma).Itisrecommendedthatstudentscompletefirstyearbeforeapplying,including twosubjectsthatcancounttowardsboththedegreeandtheDiploma.
