Lesson Summary: The lesson starts with teacher showing a kite. Then, teacher introduces the step of making a kite to pupils and pupils read it for a few times. During practice, pupils arrange the step of making kite in their group. After that, pupils work individually to make a kite and present their kite. Teacher and pupils decide the most beautiful kite. Lastly, teacher recaps the days lesson. Content Standard: 2.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to demonstrate understanding of a variety of linear and nonlinear texts in the form of print and non-print materials using a range of strategies to construct meaning. Learning Standard: 2.2.2 Able to read and understand phrases and sentences in linear and non-linear texts Pupils Previous Knowledge: Pupils have seen kites in their daily life. Learning Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to : 1. Arrange the steps of making kite correctly (at least three) 2. Produce a decorative kite Content: Reading ( Listening and Speaking, Language Arts) Moral Values/ Educational Emphases: Obey instructions, cooperation, enjoyment/Multiple Intelligence, Creativity and Innovation

Teaching Aids: Kite, LCD, laptop, power point slide, envelopes, sentence strips, board, glue, colour papers, stick, sticky tape, thread, scissor, colour pencil and sticker.
