Mission statement: With a mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all, our impact is felt when an individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child and when a community comes together for the common good.

Participants and Parents, The staff of the YMCA at San Luis Obispo is pleased to be a part of your journey toward an active and healthy lifestyle. As a member of the Y, participants are entitled to sports activities, access to fitness facilities and amenities, and certified personal trainers. The Y gives participants the opportunity to engage with other members of the community in a place where there is something for everyone of every age.
